I wanna deliver on this message so much.

I would create a test or a drug

如果可以的話我很想製造一種測試或者是藥物

that allowed people to become self-aware.

讓人們更了解自己

One potion inject, not hustle, not smart.

只要一針，不是努力，不是智慧

Self-awareness.

自我意識

I don't fear being self-aware.

我不害怕面對真實的自己

I know I suck at a lot of stuff.

我知道我在很多地方都爛透了

I think everybody lies to themselves.

我覺得人們都在自欺欺人

Some people are meant to be B and C players.

有些人天生就是B咖和C咖

And I'm pissed that the narrative now

讓我火大的是，最近被灌入人們的思維是

is that you need to be a number one

你必須要是第一

and have your company.

或者擁有自己的公司

Because a lot of people are gonna lose

因為這樣的話很多人會輸

or leave money on the table,

或者虧錢

because that's just the narrative.

因為這就是我們社會在傳達的故事與訊息

'Cause I'm such a positive guy,

因為我是一個充滿正能量的人

I struggle to think about the things I'm bad at,

我不擅長去糾結在我本身的缺點

but self-awareness requires understanding both

可是自我意識需要的是了解你本身的優缺點

and then choosing which path you wanna go through.

然後選擇你想要走哪一條路

I'm a big fan of going all in on your strengths.

我很鼓勵人們去專注於他們本身的優點

And don't give a fuck about what you suck at.

然後不要去在乎他們的缺點

Self-awareness isn't only just betting on your strengths,

自我意識不只是單單利用你的優點

it's accepting all your shortcomings.

它同時也是接受你本身的缺點

Let me tell you one thing.

讓我告訴你一件事

What works for me does not necessarily work for you.

對我來說有效的事不一定對你有效

I think being at peace with yourself and your skill set

我覺得能可以欣然接受自己和自己的天賦

is such an important part of this.

是在自我意識中是非常重要的

Too many people try to be like me,

很多人試著想要變得和我一樣

because it's sizzly and it's sexy,

因為這樣很刺激，這樣很性感

and people wanna be charismatic and on stage.

然後人們都想可以在舞台上展現氣質的一面

So many of you do so many things better than I do.

可是很多的你們比我會的還多，比我還強

You can look at how people roll,

你可以一直看別人怎麼做事

and it's great to admire and things of that nature,

你可以一直欣賞他，仰慕他等之類的

but it's so damn important to stick to your DNA.

可是去跟隨你的天賦是很重要的

Try to get to a place where you understand yourself

請試著去挖掘自己，讓你更了解自己

and understand what your strengths are.

讓你更了解自己的優點在哪

You've gotta find your self-awareness.

你必須要擁有自我意識

All your shortcomings are there for a reason.

你的缺點有它存在的理由

They're there to also allow you to be great.

它存在的目的也是讓你變得很屌

Deep in your brain, deep in your heart,

在你腦海深處 在你心裡深處

you actually accept all those shortcomings,

當你真正的接受你的缺陷時

is the second your life goes on the offense.

就是你向你人生進行進攻的時候

I worry that people don't tap into their strengths.

我擔心的是人們不善用他們的優勢

You have to audit who you actually are,

你必須要檢視自己

because then you're not gonna bullshit yourself.

因為那時你不會對自己唬爛

You're gonna story-tell yourself,

你可能會說服自己

you're gonna motivate yourself,

but you're not gonna bullshit yourself.

And once you believe that,

either for yourself or someone else told you,

go directly all chips, all in to that.

And we've all got something,

and you just need to accept what's yours
