    這樣當英語母語人士使用這些詞彙的時候,你能了解他們在說什麼

  • so that you can understand natives when they speak to you.

    那也希望你不會遇到太多

  • Hopefully you don't have too many

    母語人士對你生氣的時候

  • native speakers getting angry with you.

  • It's an excellent offer so make sure you check out that

    去看看喔

  • by clicking on the link below.

    好的,現在就開始今天的課程吧

  • Right, let's get started with the lesson.

    稍微做個提醒,以下我將提到的詞彙

  • Just a quick warning, a couple of the words that I'm going

    可能會冒犯到某一些人

  • to talk about could offend some people,

    又或者是你不希望你的小孩知道這些詞彙

  • or maybe you don't want your children knowing them.

    沒有髒話,但如果有小孩在旁邊的話,請記得使用耳機

  • No swear words but if you're around children, headphones in.

    若你很容易感到被冒犯

  • And if you are easily offended

    那可以請你去找其他的影片觀看喔

  • then you can find another video.

    以上我已經先是先提醒囉

  • You've been warned.

    第一個我要分享給你的新單字

  • The first bit of new vocabulary

    00:02:11,237 --> 00:02:16,173 是一個動詞短語,叫做to piss off

  • that I'm going to share with you

    或者直接表達你的情緒 be piss off

  • is actually a phrasal verb and this is to piss off.

    這個字的意思是指讓你生氣或惱怒

  • And you can also be pissed off.

所以我可以說, I felt really pissed off

  • And it means to make angry or to annoy.

    當我看到有人刮我的車

  • So I could say, I felt really pissed off

或者是I really pissed my teacher off

  • when I saw that somebody had scratched my car.

    當我沒準時交作業

  • Or I think I really pissed my teacher off

    所以to piss off這個字

  • when I didn't hand in my homework on time.

    piss本身是一個粗俗的字眼

  • Just so you know, that word, to piss off,

    指的是小便的意思,所以非常不尊重人

  • piss on its own is actually a vulgar word for

    所以只能在朋友間,或非正式的場合上使用

  • to urinate, so it's not respectful.

    但是還是很重要需要讓你們知道

  • So around friends, very informal situations.

    下一個是另一個動詞短語 叫做

  • But, it's important you understand it.

to rile somebody up, to rile one up

  • The next one is another phrasal verb and this is

    這個也是讓人感到生氣的意思

  • to rile somebody up, to rile one up.

    一直煩他們直到他們爆發或發脾氣

  • And again it means to make somebody angry,

    所以to rile up或rile sb up是指讓人生氣

  • to push them until they maybe explode or lose their temper.

    所以我可以說,某人一直煩我

  • So to rile up or to rile somebody up is to make them angry.

    而really riling me up

  • So I could say, somebody's been picking on me for a while

    我覺得我快爆發了

  • and they're really riling me up,

    接下來的字,前面都會接to be

  • I feel like I'm going to lose my temper.

    這些字都是用來表達感到生氣的或感到懊惱的

  • OK, the next words all go with the verb to be.

    第一個字 to be livid

  • So these are all ways to say to be angry, or to be annoyed.

    Livid指的是非常非常非常生氣的狀態

  • So the first one, to be livid.

    接著是to be fuming

  • Livid just means really, really, really angry.

    一樣,這個字的意思跟livid相似,也是指非常非常生氣的

  • Then we have to be fuming.

    接著是to be seething

  • Again, similar to livid, really, really angry.

    Seethe指的是沸騰的意思,如果你感到"沸騰",那代表你是非常生氣的

  • Then we have to be seething.

    接下來的幾個是比較沒有這麼強烈的字眼

  • If you seethe you are just so angry.

    to be irked

  • Then we have a couple that aren't as strong.

    這個字指的是懊惱的但比pissed off的程度再輕微些

  • We have to be irked.

    接著是 to be miffed

  • That's annoyed and just ever so slightly pissed off.

    如果有人做了某件事令你覺得很傻眼

  • And we also have miffed.

    你就可以說you feel a bit miffed

  • If somebody does something that makes you go oh,

    再來,我有一些片語及表達方式要分享給你們

  • then you could say you feel a bit miffed.

    這些片語是用來表達懊惱及憤怒的

  • And now I have some idioms for you, some expressions

第一個是 to rub sb up the wrong way

  • that we like to use to express annoyance or anger.

或者也可以說 to rub sb the wrong way, up可加也可不加

  • The first one is to rub somebody up the wrong way,

to rub sb the wrong way這個詞,你可以這樣想

  • or also to rub somebody the wrong way, the up is optional.

    當你用手以順時針的方向對一隻貓比劃著

  • And to rub somebody the wrong way, think about it this way,

    或者你也可以換成另一個方向轉,會讓這隻貓覺得很煩

  • you can stroke a cat the right way

    當然對於人也是相同的意思

  • or you can stroke them the wrong way and it annoys them.

如果你rub sb up the wrong way,代表你

  • Well, this is exactly the same for people.

    對於他們做出的行為會讓他們感到生氣或惱怒

  • If you rub somebody up the wrong way, you are treating them

那件事真的rubbed me up the wrong way

  • in a way that might make them angry or annoyed.

    代表那件事真的讓我覺得很煩

  • That really rubbed me up the wrong way,

下一個是 to be at the end of one's tether

  • that really annoyed me.

所以如果我說 I'm at the end of my tether

  • The next one, to be at the end of one's tether.

    那代表我已經非常接近要爆炸了

  • So if I say I'm at the end of my tether,

    讓我非常非常的生氣

  • it means I am this close to losing to losing my temper.

    你已經冒犯到我也打擾到我了

  • To getting really, really angry.

    我的情緒只差一點點就真的要爆炸了

  • You've really offended me, you've really annoyed me,

    另一個非常相似的片語叫做 the last straw

  • I'm this close to really exploding.

    the last straw就像是壓垮駱駝的最後一根稻草,有很多

  • Another very similar one is the last straw.

    令你感到厭惡的小事集結起來

  • So the last straw is that final thing in a collection

    最後會讓你爆發的這件事就叫做 the last straw

  • of many little things that have annoyed you,

    00:05:10,152 --> 00:05:12,831 所以我可以說 我今天已經過得很糟了

  • but that one thing it's the last straw,

    跑步訓練又被取消,這件事是我的the last straw

  • it's the thing that makes you lose your temper.

    我感到非常生氣

  • So I could say I had a terrible day

    接下來的兩個是有關於讓你情緒爆發的片語

  • but my running training being cancelled was the last straw.

    很明顯的,如果你感到非常生氣,那代表

  • I just, pff, screw it, was really angry.

    你很生氣,生氣到會大叫

  • The next two are about losing your temper.

    你感到有一點暴躁

  • And obviously if you lose your temper it means (snaps)

    所以用來表達某人情緒爆炸的片語叫做

  • that's it, you are angry, you are shouting,

    to lose one's rag

  • you get maybe a bit aggressive.

    rag在這個片語就代替了temper,兩者是一樣的意思

  • So one way of saying to lose one's

    所以如果有人lose their rag代表他們

  • temper is to lose one's rag.

    已經爆發了,感到很生氣

  • So rag replaces temper in this case.

另一個表達方式叫做 to fly off the handle

  • So if somebody lost their rag it means they

to lose one's rag, to fly off the handle

  • exploded in a fit of anger.

    和to lose one's temper都是一樣的意思

  • And another option is to fly off the handle.

    所以呢,我有一些作業要給你們

  • Again to lose one's rag, to fly off the handle,

    我希望你能在留言區

  • to lose one's temper.

    寫下一些最近讓你們感到生氣或是惱怒的事情

  • So I've got some homework for you.

    當然如果你想跟大家分享的話

  • I would like you to write in the comments section

    我想那應該會很有趣

  • something that made you angry or annoyed recently,

    通常我都是散發正向能量給大家的

  • if you want to share it of course.

    但我今天,我想散發一些

  • I think it will be really interesting.

    惱人的及令人生氣的情緒給大家LOL

  • Normally I'm all about spreading positivity
