其實不只你一個人

This puzzling feeling has been known to strike the most accomplished and wealthy people

這種莫名的感受

as well as the less accomplished and less wealthy.

不但侵襲最有成就和最富有的人

In fact, King Solomon had it all

也侵襲不那麼有成就和不那麼富有的人

—a kingdom, untold wealth, profound wisdom and knowledge—

事實上 所羅門王擁有一切

yet after pondering his life, he said that there was nothing new under the sun.

王國、無窮的財富、淵博的智慧和知識

Everything was vanity.

但當他思量自己的一生

It is as if something compels us to find the elusive missing piece.

他竟說 日光之下並無新事

We may pursue a successful career,

凡事都是虛空

meaningful relationships, material possessions,

似乎有什麼東西迫使我們

or even fun and entertainment.

去尋找那令人費解 遺失的一角

But nothing cures that mysterious empty feeling way down inside.

我們可能追求成功的事業

Why do we feel this way?

有意義的戀情

The Bible shows us that God created man with three parts.

物質的財富

1 Thessalonians 5:23 says: "May your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete".

甚至樂趣或是娛樂

It is clear that we are not just a physical body made up of atoms.

卻沒有一件事物能治癒我們深處

We also have a soul to think, feel, and choose.

那個莫名的虛空感

Yet hidden deep inside of us is a third part:

為什麼我們會有這樣的感覺呢

our spirit.

聖經告訴我們

This God-designed third part has a specific capability:

神創造的人有三部分

our spirit can contact, receive, and experience God.

帖撒羅尼迦前書五章二十三節說

Blaise Pascal, the famous French scientist and mathematician,

願你們的靈、與魂、與身子得蒙保守

said that within mankind is a God-shaped vacuum.

這裡很清楚的說出

Only God can fit into this vacuum.

我們並非只是由原子組成的物質身體

As long as our spirit is empty, without God,

我們也有魂 可以思考、感覺和選擇

we cannot obtain true satisfaction;

但藏在我們深處有第三個部分

only He can answer the longing of our third part.

就是我們的靈

When God gets into our spirit, He fills its aching emptiness with Himself

這個神所設計的第三部分

as our real enjoyment, wealth, and meaning.

有一個特別的功用

We are finally and lastingly satisfied with the eternal and divine life of God.

我們的靈可以接觸

God took some monumental steps so that He could enter our spirit.

接受

He became a man named Jesus Christ.

和經歷神

Jesus lived a perfect human life on the earth,

布萊茲‧帕斯卡

died to take away our sins,

這位法國有名的科學家及數學家曾說

was buried, and then rose from the dead.

在人裡面有一個神形狀的真空

When He resurrected, He became a life-giving Spirit

只有神能恰好填滿這個真空

and can now enter our human spirit.

只要我們的靈還是空的、沒有神

He is waiting for you to open to Him.

我們就無法得著真實的滿足

Just turn your heart to God and pray this simple prayer:

只有神能回應我們

“Lord Jesus, I believe in You.

這第三部分的渴望

I confess that I am a sinner.

當神進到我們的靈裡

Forgive me of all my sins.

就補滿了我們靈裡

I open to You.

那隱隱作痛的空虛

Come into my spirit and fill me with Yourself.

祂也成了我們真正的享受、富足、和意義

Lord Jesus, I receive You.

我們終於得到永遠的滿足

Thank You, Lord. Amen.”

因我們有了神永遠並神聖的生命
