Norway is the happiest country in 2017

It's plainly my observation, and it shouldn't count for anything

but here are the four reasons, factors that I think

contribute to Norway Norwegians being the happiest

number one, healthy foods

I didn't know what their cuisines are about

I thought probably salmon salmon and more salmon, but how they prepare the dishes

Number two, free from material desires

In the city of Oslo, and that's their capital city

Metro around, train around, ferry around

It got me thinking that

number three, economic equality

You see people

treating

everybody

whether you're an artist or a salesperson

or a big shot in the corporate

and maybe there is not a huge gap between their salaries

when I was in a department store

We were there getting our tax refund on the products that we bought

we're at this tax refund counter

the Norwegian person actually spoke Mandarin Chinese

I was thinking... Oh wow

because you know in one of those department stores

You don't expect people to speak your language

he actually told us that he learned Mandarin Chinese in Denmark

他居然告訴我們，他在丹麥學中國話

And he also speaks perfect English and Norwegian

and also, I think some french

but I realized people

However capable you are, you choose your own career that you're passionate about

you determine what you want to do not because of salary

你確定你想要做的，不是因為工資什麼

the last one, faith in humanity

最後一個，相信人性

When I was at a metro station in Oslo, I was so surprised to find that there was no physical gate

Where you insert or beep your ticket onto the platform

I just got this knock in my head that, whoa

People must be really trusting in this country or the government

the person who manages the public transit

must be

have so much faith

So yeah, these are my four understandings that Norwegians are the happiest in the world

freedom, faith, equality and staying healthy and maybe their sceneries
