  • - (FBE) So this will be something a little bit different.

  • It's something that's being talked about across the web

  • from a major brand's Twitter account.

  • - I think I know where this is coming from.

  • - A major brand across Twitter.

  • - Is it Wendy's?

  • I saw it in my feed, 'cause somebody retweeted it.

  • And then I saw a whole Facebook video about it where it's like,

  • "Wendy's is roasting people!" And I was like, "Good for Wendy's."

  • - I was reading a lot of the tweets and stuff.

  • And I was like, "Dang, Wendy's."

  • - I've seen stuff with Wendy's talking smack with--

  • There was like a Burger King.

  • - I heard that they're replying to people

  • that tweet them mean things.

  • They're just roasting the eff out of them in response,

  • and I love that.

  • - (FBE) Here is one of their Twitter exchanges

  • that happened around two weeks ago. - Okay.

  • "Our beef is way too cool to ever be frozen."

  • - "Your beef is frozen. We all know it.

  • Y'all know we laugh at your slogan, 'Fresh, never frozen,' right,

  • like you're really a joke." Oh jeez.

  • I can't imagine caring that much about a fast food chain.

  • - And then Wendy's: "Sorry to hear you think that.

  • But you're wrong.

  • We've only ever used fresh beef since we were founded in 1969."

  • - This is a thing? This is a beef?

  • (chuckles) See what I did there?

  • - (FBE) And then this happened.

  • - "So you deliver it raw on a hot truck?"

  • "Where do you store cold things that aren't frozen?"

  • - "Y'all should give up.

  • McDonald's got you guys beat with dope-ass breakfast."

  • Ohh, snap.

  • "You don't have to bring them into this

  • just because you forgot refrigerators existed..."

  • (quiet gasp)

  • They're getting a little bit spicy there. Okay.

  • - (chuckling) Oh shit. Oh my god.

  • Savage Wendy.

  • - The fact that Wendy's is still responding,

  • that's what's so brilliant about it.

  • - I love it. I love it.

  • And clearly 23,000 other people also like it.

  • - That's like not great for a company to do, I feel like.

  • But that's funny.

  • - It's a good, healthy amount of sass.

  • Like, I want to now go to Wendy's

  • and purchase something from them,

  • 'cause you have personality, and I appreciate that.

  • - (FBE) So here are some more tweets from the account recently.

  • - "Waiting for the Wendy's roast to happen to me."

  • You aren't Bart Simpson, and it isn't 1997."

  • - Damn! (giggles)

  • - I like myself a good sassy brand Twitter.

  • - Dude, they're, like, being mean. I love it.

  • I want them to roast me.

  • - As we know, controversy sells these days. So I kinda get it.

  • - I haven't seen anything like this before,

  • and I think they realize that it was getting attention.

  • So they just kept doing it.

  • - "What should my Tinder bio say?"

  • "Swipe left." (laughing)

  • - Ho-ho, that one's my favorite.

  • - It's definitely not an out-of-date person doing it.

  • It's someone that is like, "Oh, it's my time to shine.

  • I'm gonna roast everyone."

  • - This is great. I'm gonna follow them after this.

  • I'm not even kidding. I'm genuinely gonna--

  • I'm following them right now.

  • - The account is @WendysSucks.

  • - The Pepe meme. (laughs)

  • - (amused) Pepe has the pigtails! That's beautiful.

  • - "Are your burgers even beef? Are your fries even potatoes?"

  • "So you made a Twitter account, just for this,

  • I love the internet. There's a reason why I live on the internet.

  • God bless you.

  • - Just being a little sassy, being real,

  • It's not personal at all.
