And today I'll teach you the simplified version of the song I See Fire by Ed Sheeran

In this lesson I'll use the Eagle acoustic guitar EMA 663

The studio version of this song have some little solos that aren't so simple for who is starting

So I decided to do this simplified version for who don't have so much practice, but also wants to play this song

To play on original key, doing more simple chords, we'll need a capo on first fret

And the chords forms that we'll use to play this song are that:

I'll start playing Intro and First Part and after show I'll the rhythm

Let's go!

Well, you saw that in this part I've played we'll being repeating a rhythm pattern on each chord

This way:

Just it

On each chord we'll play this one time

One hit down

After, we hit down again, but now we'll mute the sound leaning this right hand part

We'll use index, middle and ring finger to play

That's the way that we'll play all chords. On Intro will be like this:

Following starts the first part and we'll play the same way

Two hits down on each chord

Being the first one normal, and the second one muted

Just on the last chord of the first part, F

We'll hit just one time down

Without the muted hit that comes after

We play and let it sound until Chorus starts

On Chorus the chords are the same, but we'll play a different rhythm. Take a look:

The chorus rhythm is played divided between two chords

Before show with two chords I'll show with one, and after you'll see the right division

This rhythm has two parts

Let's start just with Am

On the first part we'll hit 3 times down

and on the second one we'll hit 3 times down again

and after hit one time down

and one hit up

Joining this two parts, we have the complet rhythm

This is the chorus rhythm

But it's played divided between chords, so we'll do this:

On first chord we'll play the first part

and on the following chord, we play the second one

The sequence with 3 chords that we'll repeat is this:

So, on chorus, we'll play this way

First part on the first chord and the second part on the second chord

Just on Dm, that is on the last line of chorus, that we'll hit just one time down

That is the chorus last chord, and because of this we'll let it sound

Like i've showed on the First Part last chord

After Chorus comes the Second Part, that will be played as the first one

Following comes another Chorus, that is the same too

After comes the Third Part, that we'll play with this same chorus rhythm

Just the chords arrangement changes

To finish this song, we'll play Chorus one more time

The lyrics changes a bit, but playing way is the same that I've taught you
