No one is entitled to decide what you do with YOUR body, except you.

That's called bodily autonomy by the way.

and that's what consent is all about.

Everyone is different.

每個人都是不一樣的

Some people like to hug,

有些人喜歡擁抱

and some people hate hugs.

有些人討厭擁抱

And each person gets to decide what they're comfortable with.

每個人都可以決定自己麼樣才會舒服

Can a hug-loving person just start hugging someone at random?

They need consent.

他們需要先得到允許

How do people know if they have consent.

那人們怎麼知道有沒有得到允許呢

If a person doesn't say yes.

如果有人沒有說好

Then they haven't given their consent.

那他們就沒有同意

It's really pretty simple.

Ask for consent. Listen to the answer

By the way, if a person bribed someone, or threaten someone to say yes,

that's not consent.

Sometimes adults will try to tell a kid what to do with their body,

But the kids still gets to decide.

Somethings kids can't consent to.

有些事情是小孩不能同意的

They can't enter into legal contracts.

他們不能簽屬一些法律合約

They can't vote.

他們不能投票

And they can't consent to sexual stuff.

他們也不能同意關於性方面的事情

Cause they're kids!

因為他們是小孩呀

So an adult does something that kids can't consent to,

所以如果大人利用這點替小孩做決定

that's not okay.

這是不可以的

The adult is wrong, and it's not the kid's fault.

大人錯了，這不是小孩的錯

And that's when it's most important to tell a trusted adult like a teacher.

這種時候，告訴一個你信任的大人，比如說老師，是很重要的

Why?

為甚麼呢

Because it's your body.

因為那是你的身體

And no one else is entitled to tell you what to do with it.
