Is Xbox Fusion the name of the next-generation Xbox? As spotted by website Fusible, Microsoft

has registered various Xbox Fusion domains around the world. They also own Xbox Next

and Xbox Gold domains, but, interestingly, do NOT own the domains to previously rumored

names like Xbox Infinity, Xbox Infinite, and Xbox 720.

If you're an old-time Xbox guy like me, though, you're probably thinking, "Hmm, Xbox Fusion

sounds familiar..." That's because, along with Xbox HD and a few others, it was one

of the finalists for the console that ended up being called Xbox 360. So what does it

all mean? Is Fusion the name of the next-gen Xbox? Maybe. It definitely means that it's

one of the finalists. But Fusion could also be the name of a peripheral too, like the

rumored Fortaleza 3D glasses or the IllumiRoom.

We'll find out for sure on May 21, when Microsoft holds their Xbox Reveal event. Be sure to
