字幕列表 影片播放 列印英文字幕 The NUAGE Fader unit offers many quick and efficient ways to navigate through all the channels in your mixer. To begin with, we have the standard bank and channel nudging controls which allow you to tap through the mixer, 8 channels at a time with the Bank, or single channel at a time, like this. But, since everything is color-coded in the NUENDO mixer, it can often be very easy to use the Touch Slider. Just slide through the channels, until we see the color of the channels where we want to work with. The Touch Slider can also swipe like this, and it will slide down the mixer for a little while. We can also organize the mixer by channel type. If we don’t want to see all of the channels at once, we can simply pick the type of channel we want to be able to see. If I turn everything off except for the Group channels, that's all I see on the Fader unit. If I want to see just the Effect channels, I can turn them off. If we want to see everything, we can turn them back on like this. This can make it quite easy to get to the channel you are most interested in. We also have access to the NUENDO Mixer Agents. The Mixer Agents will sort through the tracks in your Project with a certain criteria. For example, if we press the PLAYING CHANNEL button, the Fader unit will only show the channels that have events at the current cursor position. If we press the EVENT CYCLE button, now we see tracks that have events in between the Left and Right locators. If we press the EVENT ON TRACK button, that will show us all the tracks that actually have audio data on them. Next comes the expand agent, and how this works is when we select the channel and press EXPAND button, you'll now see all the connected channels to the Selected channel. For example, this track has an Aux Send that's routed to this Reverb Effect channel, so we see that here. The output destination of this track is the Sound Effect stem, so we see that there. But this also works in reverse. So let's take a look at the Sound Effect stem. It's a group channel. If we select the Sound Effect stem, press the EXPAND button, now we will see all the tracks that are routed into the Sound Effect stem, and then also we will see the output destination which is the 5.1 mix bus. If you select channels from different parts of the Mixer like this, holding down the Control key, making a selection here, here and here, we can use the Selected Channel agent to just show those selected tracks in the hardware unit. Now, if you want to save this view as one of your preferred channel views, you can press and hold one of the Channel View buttons here, until it stops flashing. Now, if we return to all channels, and we want to see that previously viewed channel selection, we can press the Channel View control #1. Now we returned to just those 4 channels we saw before. When you have less than 16 channels visible on the Fader unit, they can either be aligned to the right side of the Control Surface or the left side of the Control Surface. Now, in the case where 2 Fader units are linked together, they act as one Control Surface. Here is how you change the alignment from the right side to the left side. If we hold down the Shift key and press the Bank left arrow, now, the remaining channels will be on the left side of the Control Surface. Hold the Shift again and press the right arrow, and they will return to the right side. It's also possible to freely assign where these channels will be shown on the Fader unit. For that, you press Alt and the right arrow. Now, using the Touch Slider, I can freely move those channels around on the Control Surface. If you want to exit free-align mode, press Alt and the left arrow, and you will return to a fixed alignment either to the right or the left. If you would like to lock one of the channels in the Mixer so that you always have access to it, you can use the Lock function. Simply select a channel and press either the Right Lock key to lock the channel to the right side of the Control Surface, or the Left Lock key to lock it on to the left side of the Control Surface. Channels that are locked are displayed with lines across the OLED. So, if I have several channels locked one side of the Console, and the I swipe through the remaining channels, notice how the locked channels stay in their position and don't move. If there are channels in the Mixer that you no longer need to see, you can hide them from view. Select the channels, and then press and hold the HIDE button, now they are no longer part of the Mixer. If you would like to see a complete list of all the tracks in your Project whether they are visible or not, we can go to the Channels page. That's accessed with the Page Control here at the bottom of the Fader unit. Right now we are on the Home page which shows the Control Room and the various meters for the Control Room. That's accessed with left and right arrows. If you press the PAGE button, it will switch to the Channels page, and here we have 2 panes, one is the Zones, and the other is Visible pane. If the track is visible, the dot on the left will be lit up. If it's not visible, it will be dark. So, let's say we take a few tracks here, and show only the selected tracks in the Mixer, now you can see that the rest of the tracks have no dot visible, meaning they are invisible to the Fader unit. If we go back to all channels, we can see all the channels become visible again. If we go to the Zones pane, this shows whether the channels are locked to either the right side or the left side of the Fader unit. So, if we take several channels, lock them to the right side of the Fader unit, we can see the right button is lit up for those tracks. If we take some other ones and lock them to the left side of the Surface, we can see that the buttons are lit up on the left side here. When you have more than one Fader unit in your NUAGE system, they can work together as a combined Control Surface, or they can work independently. This is the Unit Link feature. So, when the 2 Fader units are linked together, they act as one large Control Surface, but if you disable the Unit Link feature, the 2 Fader units become independent. And you can have certain channels visible on one unit, and different channels visible on another unit. So, for example, if I select several channels over here, and I only want to see those on that Fader unit, I can do that. Then, if I take several channels over here, different ones, and I only want to see them, I can do that as well. Now I have two different sets of channels on each Fader unit. If I re-link the units back together again, that acts as one Surface, and now I can return to all channels.
