and when to use them. Pretty easy stuff.

First of all, they break down pretty much into two categories, singular and plural.

首先，它們可以分為兩大類，「單數」以及「複數」

First of all, what is singular and plural? Singular is just a fancy word for saying "one".

首先，「單數」跟「複數」是什麼？ 「單數」指的是「一」，是比較花俏的說法

Plural is just a fancy word for saying "2 or more".

「複數」就是「二或以上」的花俏講法

So this is the difference between"a book" or "1 book" and "2 books" or "3 book" or "4 books".

這就是「一本書」跟「兩本書」、「三本書」、「四本書」之間的差別

So when do we use "this" and when do we use "that"?

我們什麼時候會用「這個」，什麼時候用「那個」？

"This" is going to be for singular.

「這個」是用在單數

The word "this" is used for singular when something is close to us.

「這個」是用在單數，當某個東西離我們很近的時候

I have a ball right here, if this ball is close to me, so I'm going to say "this ball".

我這裡有顆球，如果這顆球離我很近，我就會說「這顆球」

But if it's far away, now I say "that ball".

如果它離我很遠，我現在就會說「那顆球」

Ok, so for things that are far away and there is only one of them, we use "that".

所以當東西只有一個，又離我們很遠，我們就會說「那個」

Alright, now let's talk about "these" and "those".

好，我們現在來談談「這些」和「那些」

Kind of the same thing but now "these"and "those" are going to be for plural objects.

其實都差不多意思，不過現在「這些」和「那些」指的是複數的東西

So I have two balls now. Because they are close to me, I'm gonna use "these".

我現在有兩顆球，因為它們離我很近，所以我會用「這些」

I'm gonna say "these balls". But again if they are far away, I'm going to say "those balls".

我會說「這些球」，但 一樣的，如果它們離我很遠，我就會說「那些球」

So once again, if it's close and I have two, I say "these".

再一次，如果距離很近又有兩顆，我會說「這些」。

If they're far away, I say "those balls".

如果距離很遠，我會說「那些球」

So that's pretty much it for the EWOD - "this/that/these/those".

「這個、那個、這些、那些」的 EWOD 差不多就到這

Just remember singular and near use "this",

只要記得，單數又近距離，用「這個」

singular and far use "that",

單數但遠距離，就用「那個」

plural and near use "these"

複數又近距離，用「這些」

and plural and far use "those".

複數又遠距離就用「那些」
