Why is it so important that Black creators are the ones

telling our own stories?

around is not skirting the issues.

If you're going to talk about the experience

of a character of color, you need people

who have lived that experience.

Yeah.

I really never felt represented by much

of what I saw on TV at all.

We say, Proud Family,

we're unapologetically Black.

We're not trying to be anything else.
