MONDAY

Tokyo to New York.

First is Tokyo.

What says "Tokyo" better than these single-tooth geta?

Or is it just me?

Check these out, so magnificent.

I brought these all the way to New York.

Don't you think they're cool?

Yeah, so these geta and this jacket.

Isn't this cool?

It's got embroidery.

This is my Tokyo look.

Next, I'd like to change into my New York look.

There it is, my New York outfit.

By the way, this jacket is Keita Maruyama.

It's a Japanese brand.

I bought it a few years ago. So cute.

Here we go... and up.

This is New Yorker.

This makeup artist named Anne

who did my makeup here in New York,

said to me, "Welcome to New York," and gave me these badges as a gift.

So this is an all-black, one-tone outfit,

but it's got some playful elements,

which I thought were very New York.

And the shoes are a Tokyo brand called TOGA.

TUESDAY

Ta-da!

This is my going-out-to-lunch look.

These trousers... well...

they were part of one of my project brands, called "Ten".

I created it with my friend, Yoppy.

I really wanted to wear denim that was both cool and comfy for me.

Finding the perfect denim is super hard,

especially for those with bigger tummies.

I figured there are a lot of plus-size people

out there just like me who want to wear denim

that's trendy and well-fitted,

so I made these trousers.

I started to show my stomach ever since coming to New York.

That's the power of New York.

See? It's so well-balanced.

Even the colour of my bangs and these glasses...

I mean sunglasses.

This thing attached to my sunglasses.

It's Gucci. Cute, right?

My rings are also purple to match.

See? Do you get it?

You know, even though it's lunch, we all eat a lot, right?

So these trousers have an elasticated waistband.

It's perfect for lunches.

These shoes are Ugg and they're my fave.

They're so comfortable.

Since these trousers are long, I chose platform shoes.

I went for a '90s style.

WEDNESDAY

The next is my power-dress look.

First, isn't this jacket cool?

It's a brand called Area.

Look. It's super powerful.

These longer jackets or coats

make us chubby folk look really bulky.

But the shoulders, chest area, and the waist are form-fitting

while the hips kind of stick out.

So the coat is clearly contoured,

accentuating the curves.

It creates a nice shape, right?

Most importantly,

there is a huge opening in the back.

Oh my goodness.

I'm shy. Don't look!

Don't look. I'm shy.

Yeah, since my back is bare,

it's powerful from the front and powerful from the back.

This is nice.

Look at my bag. It's super small.

This bag is from Coperni.

It's so tiny.

So tiny!

Underneath, I wore an all-black outfit.

And these trousers are from Sleeper.

It's cool when there's movement.

And these shoes are from Nodaleto.

They're heels but comfortable.

And this top inside is from Urban Outfitters.

I buy a lot of these kinds of tops from Urban Outfitters.

This is so New Yorker, right?

This is my power look.

THURSDAY

This is my unforgettable first-impression look.

This is so kawaii, right?

If you saw me, you'd be like, "Who is she?" Right?

You'll never forget me.

This is from a brand in New York

that I love, called Vaquera.

I love this dress too, but look at this hat.

If you saw me walking, you'd be like, "What is that?"

"What is that pink blob?"

I bought this hat in New York.

I was thrilled to see this at a store in New York and bought it.

But the staff said I'm the only one who's ever bought this.

I was like, "What?"

You mean, it was dead stock, even in New York?

But when I wear this around town, oh my gosh,

everyone looks and talks to me.

"That's a nice hat!"

I can leave these dangling or tie them up like this.

Or I can tie it under my chin.

There are lots of options.

And then I have this dress from Lazy Oaf, a London brand.

I love this brand. I buy nothing but Lazy Oaf.

And my shoes.

Isn't it cute?

I like the dress by itself too. The dress by itself is cute,

but I think the hat gives it

that unforgettable first impression.

FRIDAY

Next is my dinner-date look.

Yet I'm wearing sky blue, like it's daytime.

Isn't it cute? Clouds head-to-toe.

The sky is connected wherever you are in the world.

So I'm sending a message, "You and I are connected”.

And this dress is from Delia's.

Delia's was a brand popular in the '90s

that's making a comeback.

So I chose this sky blue-ish dress

from Delia's.

And I chose this bag, which is pretty compact,

but it has a design that makes it pop, from Gucci.

Cute, right?

When I go on a date, I have to carry a lot, so it can't be too small.

Even in a bag this size,

I'll fill it up with a bunch of stuff.

Now look at my shoes.

They represent clouds.

And my necklace.

But look. It says "Heaven".

Like, if the date's going well...

Do you wanna go to heaven with me?

OK, let's get started.

These rose earrings are from a brand I love,

called Pameo Pose in Japan.

Their clothes are super cute but their earrings

are ridiculously cute.

So for my dinner-date outfit,

I went all out and super prepared.

SATURDAY

This is "Naomi goes to a house party."

This top and dress,

they're both from Lazy Oaf.

I've been hooked on dresses like this lately.

I've been hooked on wearing a dress like this with a top.

It's comfortable and I can easily take this off when it's hot.

It's casual, but it looks like I dressed up

with all these rings.

So this is my house-party look.

By the way...

Uh-oh.

I spilled my entire iced tea on myself.

And I just noticed the stain here.

This is so embarrassing!

But stains are like proof of its life.

It's part of the clothing's history.

The shoes are Loewe.

This is a heel destroyer.

It's cute. I love platform shoes.

They're thick but really comfortable.

But durable.

They're wonderful shoes.

The hat is GCDS.

When did I buy this...

A year and a half ago, maybe?

It's eco-fur.

And, get this,

I wear this all year round, in winter and summer.

I like it so much that

the inside's turning brown from my foundation.

I love this hat dearly.

So the hat completes this outfit.

SUNDAY

Next is my that's-so-Naomi-Watanabe look.

Isn't it cute?

I bought this in New York from the brand I love, Vaquera.

Both this dress and this hair accessory.

You're shocked, aren't you?

Like, "This is wow”.

Honestly, I'm shocked too.

I never really bought dresses before.

But I was told New York has lots of parties.

And since New York has lots of parties,

I should own a few dresses.

So I looked and found this Vaquera dress.

It's super cute. Now this is Naomi Watanabe.

I bought this bow at a store and this dress online.

The size is perfect and it's cute.

And the shoes are

Y/Project x Melissa collaboration.

The necklace is Milamore.

Since it's colourful, it's easy to match with any clothes.

And it's got presence but not too much, so I really like it.
