  • This is what it's like to stay at a Tokyo Disney hotel with their family.

  • Mm hmm, mm hmm.

  • So this video is a special one for me because today is my son's first birthday and I wanted to take all of you along on this special moment and share with you everything that happens with us on this trip.

  • But before I start, if you guys want to see what I'm doing on the daily, then definitely check out my instagram account.

  • If you guys want to help support the channel, check out the Tokyo merge.

  • And if you guys have any questions about Japan and Japan travels, then definitely check out the discord community that all said.

  • Let's start from the beginning.

  • Oh, Tokyo Disney resort is located in Mihama Chiba, just east of Tokyo metropolitan area.

  • We live in the Shibuya area.

  • So it takes about 50 minutes by train to get there.

  • And as you can see, will be still getting used to the ride.

  • Since we're staying at the Hotel Mira Costa inside of Disneysea we're stopping by the welcome center located just outside of the Jr Mihama station to pick up our three day pass for the Disney resort monorail train loop, which from here will take us directly to Disney C.

  • O.

  • And you can also drop off your luggage there and they'll deliver it to your room later in the evening.

  • But since we only have one piece, we'll just bring it with us.

  • He's like no one of one of the reasons why we chose Disneysea and Hotel Mira Costa is that it's the only Tokyo Disney Hotel directly connected to the park and with the one year old we're looking for all of the conveniences we can get.

  • Oh my God, so this is pretty crazy.

  • There's literally no one here.

  • I feel like we've literally just kind of like rented this whole entire place to ourselves.

  • Well at least we haven't gotten to the park, but just looking around right now, there is no one here.

  • What happened?

  • So he just went crazy at the counter.

  • My right arm is dying.

  • So the room that we're staying in is on the portal paradiso side of the hotel, the superior room piazza view, which is basically a twin room with the park view.

  • We asked the hotel to put the beds together in advance so all three of us could sleep together, which is the way Wolf has been preferring to sleep these days.

  • And if you need, you can also ask for bed railing by the way, the room didn't offer baby amenities.

  • So we brought our own baby soap and other toiletries, also dish soap and sponges for his bottles.

  • But they did hook us up with this nifty diaper disposal bag.

  • Yes.

  • Yeah.

  • You okay?

  • Mhm.

  • We arrived at the room at about four p.m. So we decided to get the party started off right and let me go for his birthday cakes right away just before his dinner time.

  • How you doing?

  • It looks like preparing to hear it of a body.

  • Okay.

  • We have the cake here.

  • The one that would make it on time.

  • Was this big size.

  • The hotel doesn't allow guests to bring outside food, but we told them in advance about his birthday and they gave us permission to bring a birthday cake.

  • Birthday.

  • Birthday hat.

  • Okay.

  • Can't wait a day to you.

  • Happy birthday to you.

  • Happy birthday.

  • Why don't you sit here?

  • Mhm.

  • It's his first time having smash cake.

  • So he's a bit unsure about it.

  • I guess he wants us to try first.

  • Mm hmm, mm hmm.

  • Thank you.

  • Yeah.

  • Whoa, look at that.

  • Okay.

  • Alright.

  • I think we're done.

  • Try try try look at that all clean.

  • How is this so far, Michael?

  • Is this a hotel a little bit stressful troubles.

  • No, I need to prepare his food.

  • That's really hot.

  • I think you turn on the heater.

  • It's pretty strange.

  • Apparently the nursing room on the lobby floor has a microwave.

  • So Michael could warm up his food.

  • I like it.

  • Uh huh.

  • So this is the initial check in period.

  • Um It's been a little bit more challenging that we thought, first of all the cake that he was supposed to eat, he thought he was gonna love and just like dig into it.

  • But he just didn't take a liking to it as much as we thought.

  • But still it was fun.

  • Anyways, he got to like feel like take all that cake in and now we're trying to feed him again.

  • This is kind of like, out of his comfort zone.

  • He's used to sitting and eating at home.

  • Michael's prepared meals.

  • This is like a special to go take out like microwavable dish that Michael got.

  • We've been trying to give it to him for the last week to get him ready for this particular moment this time since he doesn't have his chair and he's not in his regular setting.

  • He just doesn't want to sit down and he wants to just kind of like, stand just like this.

  • But I guess, yeah, that's it.

  • We're kind of excited.

  • We are literally right in front of Disney C Okay, so I'm going to cut it here.

  • He needs to finish his food and yeah, we'll leave it here.

  • Mhm.

  • Are you doing?

  • I'm filling out the forum to buy tickets for tomorrow because we get right to buy tickets if you're staying, we got room service.

  • Yeah.

  • Oh, wow.

  • It's hot in here, you know?

  • And so on.

  • Okay.

  • It's kind of like romantic businesses.

  • Good morning.

  • It's still close, dude.

  • Yeah.

  • You want to go?

  • That's daddy's sock.

  • Oh yeah, I'm gonna give me my sock.

  • Thank you.

  • What time did you wake up this morning, Like 5 30 40 when he woke up.

  • Are you tired and sleepy?

  • But what about you?

  • Okay, I slept well.

  • Yeah.

  • Disney opens at 10:00 today, so, well, we got to feed him at eight and put him to sleep at nine.

  • He usually do except at 10.

  • Good morning.

  • Y'all?

  • It is Wolfie, his birthday.

  • So it is seven o'clock in the morning and before the park opens, we're just gonna take a little walk because he wants to see this place.

  • Unfortunately we can't enter the park until 10.

  • Yeah, I know.

  • We're gonna go, we're gonna go.

  • So we're just gonna walk around a little bit.

  • Okay, Okay, Okay, we'll go.

  • So we have about an hour to kill Michael's sleeping.

  • So we're just gonna go around a little bit.

  • Resort liner is now arriving while mommy sleeps, Wolfie and I'll take a look around Japan.

  • This is kind of what him and I do every morning.

  • These days we are now arriving.

  • Ohio.

  • So now we have a few hours before the park opens at 10 later than normal due to COVID, but it's perfect for us since we still need to feed will be and give him his morning nap, which will also give us time to prepare.

  • So quickly before we continue on, I want to give a quick shout out to the sponsor for this video.

  • Good morning.

  • It was her birthday boy.

  • How was the birthday boy?

  • Yeah, can I put it on your shirt?

  • This is your birthday card from mickey.

  • Yes, that's not mickey.

  • And then you also got a sticker.

  • Do you want to put it on?

  • So the hotel presented wolfie with a birthday sticker.

  • So when you walk around the park, every time a Disney cast member sees it, they greet him with a happy birthday, which is pretty cool.

  • So we just got through the gate, it is so, so empty right now at the park, it's pretty crazy.

  • This is amazing, so much fun, can you believe it's sunny the whole month was raining, kept on saying that I am so happy, there's a room over there.

  • Say, look how empty this park is.

  • There's like, no, Nobody.

  • It's pretty crazy.

  • It's 10 30 right now and there's no one here.

  • It's just us and a few other people.

  • Which is pretty cool.

  • So the family is over here.

  • If you haven't noticed by now, just by looking at the crowds going on, Wolfe's birthday was a bit special.

  • Since the park is limiting the number of park guests, which is why there's barely anyone at the park and probably safer than walking around Shibuya is crowded streets.

  • So he didn't have to wait for rides at all on the day.

  • Dad being dad though, didn't remember how 20,000 leagues under the sea ride was like, and I thought it would be calming ride watching fish under the ocean.

  • Well, we quickly found out that something wasn't right when the alarms and flashing orange lights started going off.

  • Sorry, Wolfie, I guess we'll always remember your first ride at Disney.

  • I'm gonna pick you up now.

  • Okay.

  • Okay.

  • After that, we decided to play it a little safe and let them walk around the latin area and just enjoy the sights.

  • Well, Michael and what we look like they're having fun walking around.

  • We're walking into so what do you want to do?

  • We need to go change his diaper.

  • Also, he needs to be fed, he's gonna go to that.

  • Mhm.

  • Since the baby centers were far from here, we decided to use a multifunctional bathroom in the area.

  • So there are two baby centers in Disney C one at mermaid lagoon and the other is right next to the mural Costa Park entrance.

  • Here's the general lay of the land if you're interested.

  • All right, what did you find?

  • Well, here we are, we are at one of the restaurants here.

  • This is Aladdin's.

  • I forgot the name of this cafe.

  • We brought world peace food.

  • We're having some lessee here and just kind of hanging out.

  • One thing to note is that these places do have high chairs, but I think it's still a little bit too big for Wolfie.

  • Like there's not a lot of back into it.

  • So, I mean it works.

  • We just need to put like a little bit of padding just behind it.

  • Okay, I guess Wolfie wants to feed me stickers.

  • Now let's do this and then move on like this is the mermaid lagoon, the little mermaid themed area, Probably the best kid friendly zone in the park.

  • It has rides with the little ones and even kids merchandise you really like.

  • Okay.

  • Okay, so we are back at the hotel.

  • It is super nice being this close.

  • He needs to take a nap maybe for a couple of hours.

  • If we had to go at a different hotel, then we would have to get on the treme and then just travel little bit, but we are just like seriously on disneysea property so it's pretty, pretty convenient.

  • Put him to sleep and then after he wakes up again then we'll take him back out.

  • So I should mention in order for us to have a place for Wolfie to take us to our afternoon nap on the park day, we had to book two nights at the hotel because Disney is limiting parking during Covid if we stayed only one night can only get park tickets for the day.

  • We checked out.

  • So we decided to book two nights a little more expensive than we had anticipated.

  • But hey, we had to YOLO for Wolfie is first birthday.

  • So after he woke up I was just gonna take it and go out and then I realized that I have to feed milk so I made this and then he spilled all the water on his shirt and started to change him with a chin diaper and then forgot to bring your sweater.

  • So pack your sweater and everything and yeah, let's get some of this.

  • Hey dude, how you feeling?

  • Yeah, you're good.

  • Okay, we are back on the prowl when you're here with the baby, he has to take naps.

  • He was steeped in later.

  • So you don't get to enjoy Disneyland as much.

  • But still it's pretty awesome just being able to kind of hang out with him and show him this new world the rest of the day, we took it easy, walked around the park and let Wolfie take it all in.

  • You want to get on Mhm Yeah, take it.

  • Yeah, that's right.

  • Yeah.

  • So it's funny recently with Wolfie, if you like say are you okay?

  • He starts to call because I think are you okay?

  • Thank you.

  • So right there that is a trick constant snacks throughout the day.

  • Alright, so I think we're just gonna end it.

  • Here we are, having dinner at the hotel aside from eating in your hotel room, this is probably the easiest place to eat inside of hotel Mira Costa.

  • There's an italian restaurant overlooking the park, a mediterranean buffet and a chinese restaurant.

  • Guess which one we went for?

  • Okay, it looks like Wolfie is set to go, thank you so much for joining us on Wolf Easy first birthday in this whole Disney experience what it's like staying at the hotel.

This is what it's like to stay at a Tokyo Disney hotel with their family.
