One of the technologies that is most exciting recently is - what you might call - immersive sound. With the Barco system you're able to place sounds, not only in front of the audience as they sit in a movie theater, but behind them and above them. Let's blow this place, Belch! The above part is particularly useful for How to Train Your Dragon because very often in this movie we have dragons flying directly over our heads. Auro puts you in the middle of the action, it's called immersive sound for a reason and I think it's because you have the capability of surrounding the audience and that's incredibly powerful. It's tricky because you don't want to distract the audience by being too gimmicky with the sound. You don't want them to say: "well, wait, wait, what was that? Oh yeah, the sound people are fiddling with me." So, it's a careful dance that you have to do to use that technology in a way that helps the story rather than distracting from the story. I love working with DreamWorks and working with friendly, positive people is very high on my list of priorities. I find that the directors and producers and others who I work with on these DreamWorks films are 'dreams' to work with in that way. C'mon Toothless! Yeah baby! Dragons and Vikings, enemies again! You know that doesn't wash out
