they tell me as if they think I don't know.

COMM: New Yorker Brooke Banker is making huge

strides in the world of modelling, with the longest legs in the Big Apple, at a whopping

47 inches.

The 26-year-old is joining the ranks of some

of the leggiest in the business with her eye-popping measurements.

Woman: 47 inches, it's official!

COMM: A former aviation science student, Brooke's

rise to fame began after a friend asked her to model for some photographs.

Brooke: One of my best friends was on photography,

so I started setting up photo shoots with her and then some of her classmates started

to want to work with me.

COMM: And for the last year, she's been working

alongside model agency Monarch, but living with supersized legs isn't always easy, and

Brooke struggles to find clothes that fit.

Brooke: When it comes to buying clothing for

my legs, it can be a little bit more challenging. A lot of the higher-end brands do fit me nicely

and dressed I have to be careful - if it's a mini dress for an average legged person,

it could be potentially a little bit too short for me.

COMM: Now, her legs are drawing attention

on the streets of New York, where at 5ft 11, she stands out from the crowd.

Woman: You definitely have the longest legs

I have ever seen.

COMM: To keep her precious pins in good condition,

Brooke puts a time in at the gym to tone her famous legs.

Brooke: I generally work out about four to

five times a week I'd say, I mix it up, I do yoga, some spinning, I like to be outdoors.

COMM: And with a growing fan club, the future

looks bright for the longest legs in New York.

Brooke: The attention is fun and it's been

really exciting, but I don't really seek any kind of records.
