I actually had a lot of Japan videos already filmed and was ready to up Wortham or this year before the Olympics.

But as you guys are already aware, no one is traveling any time soon.

So I decided to delay those videos until we can actually travel, which I don't know when.

That is.

Probably not until next year, to be honest.

So I have traveled to Japan every year for 10 years now, and I used to live in Japan too.

But I left about 2.5 years ago to go back to Australia.

Also, people have asked me if I'm going back to Japan after this is over and yes, once we can safely travel again, I'll be on the first black back to Tokyo.

I had to cancel to off my trips and projects that I had on to see which socks.

But hey, let's just work together to fight through this and the sooner we stop the spread that sooner where you can travel again.

I also know a lot of You guys also had to cancel your trips, which really, really sucks.

And I really hope that you'll be able to reschedule your flights and holidays when things get better anyway.

So it's a day to brighten up the mood a little bit.

I just talk about the things I miss about Japan.

So I never really thought about these things because I was back in Japan so often.

Not being able to go back really makes you think and realize not to take things for granted.

I definitely took a lot off things for granted when I was in Japan.

The first thing I miss is convenient stores like Come on, it's a no brainer.

Who doesn't miss convenience stores in Japan?

Japan hands down has the best convenience stores in the will.

No other country that I've bean to can compare.

There is just so much variety or food drinks, and they are everywhere.

I really miss being able to just walk down to a convenience store one day.

If we don't have any dinner plans and are too lazy to cook or to go out to a restaurant, you could just pick up a full meal for less than $10.

Of course, it's not the healthiest, but doing that a few times a week.

Is it that bad at a Well, that's what I felt anyway.

I went to 7 11 way more than I should have when I lived in Japan, to the point where I kind of got sick cover.

But whenever I'm back in Australia, I always think, then it would be so nice to go down to FamilyMart and get some family my fried chicken.

Right now, I just love how there's so much variety of different food and snacks on a quick and easy mules that you can just hate up.

Yeah, that was really cool.

I miss that a lot, but the second thing I missed the match a pen is a transportacion.

I have not been to another city where Transportacion has been so convenient honestly, in Tokyo, the amount off train lines they have just makes things so quick and easy to get to anywhere like heavy.

Ever seen another country or city with crazier train lines or subway lines like this being back in Australia for a while now?

To be honest, I don't take public transport bus because I do drive, so it makes sense not to.

But I had taken the train a few times, and it always late in Japan.

They arrived exactly on a dark.

Unless it there was an accident or it was bad weather.

I just loved how punctual trains were.

Well, I don't miss about the trains in Japan, though.

Were during pig our times where you, Hillary was squished into the train carriage like this, You're squish like sidings to the point where even the train conductors would push people on.

That was a bit ridiculous, but I kind of got you Stow as I was living in Japan.

There's something you don't see in Australia.

If the train looks like it's 24 runs, like are just gonna, you know, wait 10 to 20 minutes for the next train, whereas in Japan, the next train is like in two minutes, and everyone's still trying to push themselves onto the train.

So that was quite interesting.

Apple number three food.

I gotta be honest.

I'm not the biggest fan of Japanese food as I'm a super picky eater, and I don't need seafood, which does take away a lot of foods I can think to Japan.

But Dad, So I miss going to one of those busy streets and buying random Japanese street food.

Also, when you're out one night and just Craig is your own, Rheiman is just so nice to be able to walk in one and enjoy a nice hot bowl off spicy ramen.

Even if I don't say food, a lot of people always ask me, What do you actually ate them?

Well, there are a lot of things, even sushi restaurants.

I love going to them because I can eat the non seafood stuff.

They have meats.

Vegetable was a tofu.

Some of them even sold fried chicken, which is delicious.

So sushi trains way you can order on a screen is something I miss a lot.

We have them in Sydney on there, Actually, not bad, but it's just a lot more expensive here in Australia.

If I was going to a sushi train, I'd probably spend about $30 on just myself in Japan.

It might only cost me like 10 to $15.

I do really miss how cheap the food was in Japan before neighborhoods.

I love how each neighborhood has their own distinct real unknown for particular things.

For example, Akihabara, as we all know, is a place to go for animal things.

Shinjuku and Shibuya to shop and nightlife a sucker sell for more cultural sightseeing spots.

There's just so many different things to say.

Or in just one city, it's crazy.

You never get bored.

I find that every single time I go back to Japan, even that I've got so many times I always find something different or something new to discover.

I really miss that.

I hope that I can go back to Japan and discover, you know, because when we can trouble again.

Number five vending machines.

Man, I missed many missions so much it doesn't matter where you are in Tokyo, just walk around the corner.

You'll find a vending machines so easily.

What I love most about them is that in winter they have hot drinks where you buy the drink, and it's actually really hot.

If you're so nice to keep them in your pocket for and the hot corn soups, I miss those so so much pills.

Loves Boss copy like that was my jam.

I had those almost every single day.

I also like how every season they changed what drinks are in the vending machine.

So, folks after in Soma, I can't remember what it's called.

But ahead this drink, when you shake up and inside it is this jelly.

And yet, like I said, in winter, you get the corn serves and the hot coffees.

Number six Japanese festivals.

I love festivals, but who doesn't?

And Japan is so many unique.

Best was every year, especially in summer.

Festivals are just so fine where you have order locals out, opening up stores with three food museum performances and just people out having fun.

Overall, it actually feels so.

We have seen footage of so many people around now because these days, if I see a huge crowd, I'm like no penalty opposite way.

But yeah, I think so many different festivals in different seasons, like the Snow Festival, Waseda Paper Balloon Festival, which was awesome, and you really missed that.

I hope that I can experience more festivals when I go back to Japan, whenever that is, and I'm a seven, but she body the hot towels.

I think every country should have this, but I just love how whenever you go into a restaurant cafe in Japan, the first thing that you get when you sit down is a hot towel or just a wet out and some plastic.

You just use it to clean your hands before you eat.

And I remember when I went back to Australia, I went into a restaurant and was waiting for them to give you on which they didn't also confuse for a good five minutes.

Why I haven't received one yet thought, Yeah, you know, I really miss that.

And I definitely that for granted.

When I lived Number eight on Sent Well how I would love to just sit in on send right now, I love on sense so much.

Every time I go to Japan, I try to go to Taunton at least once.

It's just a relaxing and actually a lot of content.

Places have health benefits for your skin, too.

I've always said the best feeling is when it's freezing cold outside.

Better when it's snowing and you're sitting in an on set with snow falling on you.

It's heaven.

I miss it so, so much benign shopping.

All right, so if you have been following me on my channel ever since the beginning.

You would know that I used to travel to Japan Tin Eatery Shop and that was it.

As you spent by.

I stopped shopping ice in March and now actually get stressed out when I shop.

I just go inside the shop by when I need and I'm out straight away in Japan there are so many unique things to see that I don't mind.

We've been shopping.

I think what gets me the most is during soccer, its season every single time they have a new suffer oppo command flashy, limited edition sucker up cups from Starbucks Suffer a skin care whenever I see those.

Unlike I need this so yeah, that is what usually gets me.

But I just love how there are so many unique things and shops like Pokemon Centers.

How cool is that?

Every single time I go to a Pokemon center I always have to leave with something This massive die source in Japan Where's multiple stories?

And they stopped so many things.

That's a lot cheaper then in Australia and we cannot forget about Don Quixote.

They have very everything you need.

If you are traveling to Japan and want to shop for seven years because walking around the shops and Sydney, I see the stuff that they don't give or take for, like triple the price and festival as a foreigner in Japan, you get tax free so you get 8% off whatever you buy at last one.

Number 10.

I really miss the safety in Japan.

Japan is seriously one of the safest countries in the world.

I've been to so many countries and I can say that I would have one walking around late at night, even in Australia when I'm alone.

But in Japan I can walk around alone at night and feel absolutely fine.

Of course, in every country there are risks in doing that.

I have had some scary experiences in Japan in the past, but considering how much time I have spent in Japan, I had only having two incidences in 10 years.

It's just so say from my experience.

Japanese people tend to keep to themselves, so I never felt bothered.

And of course I'm not saying I just go walk down this dark alleyway by yourself.

It's safe, but in general I have explored many neighborhoods in Japan at night.

Time on it was fine.

I've had a lot of memories where, you know, I was just really bored at night time and decided to go explore random neighborhoods around in Tokyo whenever I visited.

And, yeah, I discovered new restaurants, new bars.

I've actually received quite a few D M's and emails from other women asking me if it's safe to travel to Japan alone.

And I'm like, Yeah, I don't all the time.

I could go into my scary experiences and stop in another video I think, actually did talk about it in minus Japan, say video I made, like, five or six years ago.

Honestly, I can't look.

It's safe, But just be aware of your surroundings.
