actually this is more of a quick tip today but I've gotten a lot of requests

lately for words that are the same except for the s

versus the s H sound so I will show you all of words I've had requests

for as a late see and she self and shelf save and shave sell and shell

sort and short so what's the difference with these words it's s versus the sh

sound this is something super important to keep in mind SH is

considered a digraph and a digraph is two letters that stand for one sound so

this is not an S Plus an H it is one sound it is that Shh so you've probably

seen people do this Shh which means to be quiet and Shh is the

SH sound again two letters one sound to make the SH sound

you're going to pucker your lips Shh and the air is going to keep moving out

of your mouth your tongue is not touching your teeth the difference is

for the sss sound you can see my mouth is kind of smiling meaning that my lips are

a little more pulled back and they are not puckered at all again one letter

s one sound sss your tongue is not touching your teeth so again we have sss and shhhh

sss and shh and let's try it and these words see self save sell sort she shelf shave

shell short and then we'll contrast them see she self shelf save shave sell shell

sort short so give it a try I know people are going to notice the
