Travel, is usually a verb for example when I travel I always take a camera Sometimes we can use travel as a compound noun for example, business travel or air travel. We can also use travel as a plural noun for example, he wrote a book about his travels across Africa. However, we don't use travel as a singular noun, do not say "last weekend I had a good travel". The word journey means going from one place to another. We can use journey to talk about long distance...Our journey to Australia took 20 hours. or for a short distance.... this afternoon I'm going to make a journey across Paris on my kick scooter. We use trip to talk about more than one journey and the time you spend in a place. So for example, we spent one month in London, it was a great trip. We ask "how was your business trip?", because we are interested in what happened at the important meeting and not in the journey. A voyage is a journey we make by boat or in space.
