It is the complete opposite of "Last Christmas." I play a jackal of a young gangster whose foe -- or who is sort of attempting to go after Matthew McConaughey's sort of riches. -We have a show in Austin, Texas, tomorrow. And Matthew McConaughey is going to be our guest. How is Matthew? -Matthew is amazing. And I went into this -- I remember going in on my first day, and I was thinking, "I'm going to be best friends with Matthew McConaughey. We're going to go for, like, Sunday walks in the park. We're going to go for dinner. Our wives are going to be best buddies. I'm going to go for yogurt with him on, like, Saturdays." [ Laughter ] And so I turn up for work. -For yogurt with him, yeah. -I turn up for work. And I'm sat in the -- in the sort of makeup chair. And, "Oh, he's coming in. He's going to be in any minute now." And I hear the door open. He comes through. I'm like, "Oh, this is my moment." I'm like, "Matthew, I'm -- I'm Henry." And he just looks at me with this, like, killer stare. And he's like, "I'm McConaughey." And I was just like, "Wha-- No --" And then no one told me that he stays in character. And our characters, like, hate each other. So I thought he hated me. And my world just imploded. [ Laughter ] -I didn't know he's a really method actor. -But you know what? Like, the days that we didn't have any scenes together, he's the most loving and giving person. -Yes. -He was super, super nice. So it was just literally the days that I really wanted to be best friends, I couldn't, so... Tell him I send my love. -I will, yeah. Did you ever get to meet his brother at all? Did he comes to the set? -No, no. -So, he's a character. -Oh, really? -Oh, you've got to meet his brother. That's the secret move. -Is it secretly you? Or is it -- Does he actually have a brother? -I could play -- -Is this another thing that -- -I could play Matthew McConaughey's brother if he wants to. I'm just saying. We'll talk to the Broccoli family. -Absolutely. [ Laughter ] -Let's talk about "Last Christmas," 'cause I love a good holiday movie. I love a good rom-com. It's very -- It's got -- -It's beautiful. It is so amazing. -It really does tug at the heart strings. And it's kind of -- It's based off of the Wham! song "Last Christmas." -That's right. -That was how it was inspired. 'Cause they go, "We need a new holiday film." -Mm-hmm. -But then Emma Thompson went in and got all these songs. -Oh. -Got George Michael's permission to use all of George Michael's songs. -It's stunning. -And it's -- And it works. -And Emilia actually covers a tremendous amount of that. And she has one of the most fabulous singing voices. People who are "Game of Thrones" fans will never, ever look at Daenerys the same way, because she's so lovely in this. -Yeah. She is great. And you're Mr. Smooth in this movie. -I'm fairly, fairly smooth, I suppose. [ Laughter ] -Are you like that in real life? -I would like to think so. I'm not sure if -- Maybe my wife would say I need to be smoother. But -- -Yeah, 'cause I saw your beautiful wife backstage. -She was backstage. She's backstage today, so -- -And you brought something, because -- I'm going to make you do this, because -- She's going to hate me for doing this. She's going to hate you more, because -- -She's going to kill me when I get back there. -You are bad Instagram husband. -I am a terrible Instagram -- Okay, so, I'm going to set this up, because, otherwise, she's going to kill me. So, it was a beautiful sunset. I think I was filming in Vancouver. So, she was visiting me. We went for a walk together. And there's, like, these little dandelions that you kind of blow and make wishes. I was like, "Babe, like, I'm going to get this in slow-mo. Just make, like, a beautiful wish of whatever you want in life and, like, take a deep breath and just blow it. And I'll record it." -The sun is, like, perfect area. -The sun is perfect. I didn't focus very well. But this was the video, I suppose. -You're going to be in so much trouble. Here's Henry Golding being a bad Instagram husband. -[ Blows ] -Go. [ Laughter, applause ] [ Sad trombone ] -Oh, no! -How did you know about that? I never heard about that trick. -Oh, my God. It's terrible. -Dude, I've never heard of that trick, ever, dude. -I know. I'm sorry. -Oh, my gosh. It's unbelievable. It's hilarious. -I love her dearly. I love her dearly. -Yes. -But I couldn't resist. -No. What made you think of that? Have you seen that before? -I think I've seen it somewhere. The Internet is a bad influence, everyone. -Oh, my God. Here -- Just blow on this -- [ Stammering ] [ Laughter ] Oh, my gosh. You are in so much trouble. -I know. -Let's show a clip from "Last Christmas." Here it is. Henry Golding and Emilia Clarke in "Last Christmas." Take a look. -That's truly horrific. I mean, who buys this stuff? -Santa. She's Chinese, so she's, you know, got access to some really freaky outlets. She just loves Christmas more than anything else. -More than taste or sanity. -Yes, exactly. And that isn't even the nastiest thing we sell. -Inconceivable. -Hang on. Dun, dun, dun! -Oh. -Check it out. -What is it? Is that donkey actually smiling at me? -Yeah, yeah. And that baby has a full set of teeth. -Ooh. -I sold four of these last week. I'm that good. [ Electronic dance music playing ] -Oh, it's a techno manger. -Yeah. It's a disco nativity scene. -Henry Golding, everybody.
