  • But I went to Coachella last year

  • and I saw Beychella.

  • I saw it both weekends.

  • I went to see my sweet friends, the band Haim.

  • -Dude, they were just here last night.

  • -I know. They were here yesterday.

  • -Yeah. Love them. Man, they're talented.

  • -They're the best.

  • -You got to hear the song they did with Vampire Weekend.

  • -We were all -- Everyone -- It was the craziest thing,

  • because --

  • -This is the one from the documentary.

  • that had never been done, that was made with love,

  • that was made with beauty, that was made with pride.

  • It was a nod to a Historical Black Colleges and Universities.

  • I mean, it was incredible, and no one knew it.

  • It was a surprise.

  • All of a sudden, this pyramid came down,

  • and there was just all this beautiful blackness.

  • It was -- I'm truly emotional talking about it.

  • My daughter was with me, and she was crying.

  • Lucy was up on somebody's shoulders, crying,

  • and she said, "Do you think Beyoncé can see me?"

  • We were all moved, and she played --

  • You know, like, she started with that.

  • But songs from my childhood, like, fun

  • and, all of a sudden, like, a thing from "The Wiz."

  • Like, all this stuff that made you feel like your --

  • like, all of this pride and beauty,

  • and everyone was incredible.

  • I can't believe I saw it. -She works so hard, man.

  • -She works really hard.

  • -I've known her since like Destiny's Child days.

  • -Oh, my God.

  • Remember when she came on "SNL"

  • and did our "Gemini's Twins" sketch?

  • -Yes. Dude, Of course. I was in that.

  • -And I have to say, like -- I mean, I've done Beyoncé,

  • and, like, people are like, "Oh, we got --"

  • Like, I genuinely love her. Like, make no mistake.

  • -And then I go home to my tiny feet.

  • I know what time of the morning it is

  • by where their feet are in the bed.

  • They come in around 4:00 in the morning

  • and then they just slowly rotate them.

  • -I don't know why, but I always get kicked in the face.

  • And then the kids laugh, and they think it's funny.

  • -It was everybody in the movie, except sweet Tina

  • was making her -- She was making "Mean Girls."

  • -She was making her Broadway debut, yeah.

  • -Oh, you guys. -Jinx. Oh, my God.

  • -But you get there, and you said, like,

  • on the airplane going over there,

  • you described how everyone -- everyone's character.

  • -Everyone's true personalities came out on the airplane.

  • So, Amy -- I was sitting next to Amy,

  • and she went, "I lost my...I lost my phone.

  • Oh, my God.

  • I dropped my phone in the toilet.

  • I dropped my phone in the toilet on the airplane."

  • And everyone's reaction explains their personality.

  • So, Ana said, "It's probably in your bag.

  • Don't worry about it. We'll find it."

  • Paula said, "We'll go to the Apple store together,

  • and I'll buy one with you.

  • I need a new phone."

  • Rachel just had these big, blue eyes and was like...

  • I said, "I'm gonna go find it."

  • I asked the flight attendant for gloves.

  • I got these blue gloves and I started going in the toilet.

  • And Emily Spivey was like, "Y'all, this is terrible."

  • -Y'all. -"This is a nightmare."

  • -Y'all, this is terrible, y'all.

  • -Everyone's reaction was so apropos of their personality.

  • -Well, this movie basically is you guys going to Wine Country

  • and just -- really just drinking a lot and laughing a lot.

  • And it's really -- -Yeah, it's pretty magical.

  • -I cannot wait to just --

  • I'm gonna totally drink a full bottle of wine.

  • -You're gonna drink full bottle of wine...

  • -A full bottle of wine and not watch the movie.

  • -...in the first 10 minutes and not watch the movie.

  • -Not watch the movie.

  • Then, the next day, I'm going to watch that movie.

  • -Yeah. And you're gonna be like, "Why am I watching this movie?

  • I don't remember why I'm laying here."
