  • We often add the verb go toe, other verbs.

  • The structure is go plus verb and we use the base form of the verb, the shortest form with no s ending.

  • Using go doesn't affect the meaning of what we're saying.

  • It simply makes our speech sound more natural and less formal.

  • If I had said it's almost time for me to meet my friends, for example, it would have sounded fine but a little less conversational.
