But don't worry today I'm not going to talk about coronavirus. I am going to talk about the new English words which popped up in recent weeks after this subject. In short, today we have just four words. All of these words are informal so you will not find any one of them in any dictionary. Hey what's up everyone my name is Ziad from American gramaccvoc. As we know today we are going to learn four new English words so let's get started. Number one today is "rona." Rona is an informal shortening of coronavirus. You know we say coronavirus and corona but also we can say rona--coronavirus, corona and rona. Number two today is "covidiot." Covidiot. In this word the word covid-19 blended with the word idiot so it became covidiot. Covidiot. And by the way idiot who is (is a) very stupid person. So covidiot is a slang insult for someone who disregards healthy and safety guidelines about the novel coronavirus. And also number three is the same meaning: "moronavirus." In this word the word "moron" blended with the word coronavirus so it became moronavirus. Moronavirus. And by the way the word moron is a noun and it's an offensive way of referring to somebody that you think is very stupid. Okay guys so covidiot and moronavirus are slang insults for someone who disregards healthy and safety guidelines about the novel coronavirus. Okay guys and number four today is "covidivorce." Covidivorce. Covidivorce. The experience for couples under COVID-19 quarantine may not be so snugly. Being in extended isolation with loved ones can strain a relationship, you know. In this word--covidivorce--the word covid-19 blended with the word divorce. So it became covidivorce. Covidivorce. You know, you can guess what it means but anyway I will tell you an example. By the way couples whose marriages are fraying under the pressures of self isolation could be heading for covidivorce. Okay guys today we have learned four English ...
