hi everyone Jennifer from Tarle Speech with your pronunciation question which
is a follow-up from last week's question on how do you link the word you with the
word before it when that word ends in a D if you watched last week you know that
the trick is is that we are going to say the j sound in that case so I've
gotten a ton of requests lately for the words that I'm going to show you in a
minute and I realized what is confusing
everyone is that we actually have a J sound in these words so let's go ahead
and look at these words we have gradual graduation education individual
procedure congratulations these words are super confusing
especially the word education I hear so many people pronounce that education
which what's what it looks like but we are actually going to link these sounds
together and we are going to say the j sound and then add that oo so when
we see that D plus the u were actually going to say Ju all right so I
underlined it here so you can follow along with me and I'll say them slowly
first so we have gra ju ul grad ju a shun
education individual procedure and

sound and in this case we're going to say Ju as well so let's give that a try
