He's a collector of antique weapons and figured me being an archer might appreciate it.

I've had the crossbow for about two years now, and it is very cool, but it would be nice toe.

Crossbows were like the first powered weapon.

They're pretty amazing for what they are.

You know, basically, somebody figured out problem with bow and arrow is, you know, you've got fatigue, but it was something like this you could actually do a lot of damage with it.

You know, anybody with a simple amount of training could take out nobility with one of these rights.

All in all, a really, really, really scary weapon for someone to have.

This'll is a pretty classic mid 18th century crossbow.

17 40 maybe his latest 17 70 by the mid 18th century.

Crossbows are obsolete.

They had must gets the hip cannons.

They weren't making crossbows to take in the battle.

So what this actually is?

There was a whole recreational sport of target crossbow shooting.

But the thing that super rare is actually the windless.

The bow is so hard to pull by itself, they actually invented an entire whining system.

The technical term for that is a winless crossbows.

So this is a castle and it's in the southern part of Germany.
