  • Three or membership and a month for free.

  • Good.

  • I'll wait.

  • I literally sit right here as long as you hold pause.

  • Southpaws works.

  • Yeah.

  • You gotta at least give me points for being brave to even talk about this further.

  • Um, something that won't talk about here.

  • There's, like, three or four topics I want talk about.

  • I want talk about preproduction boards.

  • I want to talk about deleting of comments.

  • Um, the whole purpose of this channel and moving forward says.

  • You can see we're still getting the CPU air here.

  • Now let's start with preproduction boards M s.

  • I reached out to me and was like, Hey, that's the board that came with the empty package for the 3900 X launch and that is a pre production board.

  • I want to add another pre there.

  • This is a pre pre production board.

  • I'm an idiot for not realizing that.

  • And just assuming that because it came in full retail packaging without the typical.

  • This is a pre production board piece of paper that they sent in the past.

  • I assumed it was retail because they had all the packaging and warranty cards and the ex split cardinal that stuff that comes with it.

  • I guess that was That's totally on me for even assuming that the problem with our previous video started.

  • As I mentioned the moment we updated the bios.

  • The reason why I even updated the BIOS is because we wanted to talk aboutthe 1.5 volts CPU stuff, and whether or not that is too much for and there's a lot of discussion about Hayward, there's a lot of discussion about whether or not, 1.5 too much.

  • People say yes, most people say no.

  • Um, AMG said.

  • Oh, and he also said 105 TJ matches perfectly fine on the GPS.

  • But a lot of you seem to think that's way too hot.

  • So I get a little bit of hypocrisy taking place there.

  • But big surprise.

  • This is a lot of opinions in a very big pond.

  • So moving forward, finding out that this is a pre production board.

  • I've gotta retract that this is retail and I did wrong.

  • Okay, fine.

  • I did wrong.

  • This is a pre production board, and what happens is the moment we flashed a production bios on it, it brick the board, which tells me there's enough different between this board and what you guys are buying that I can't say now with certainty that when we receive a board like this for review that it's indicative of what you guys are going to experience.

  • So that's gonna save my Segway me into the other topic one to talk about here, which is the whole purpose of this channel started this channel over seven years ago, specifically because of the fact that I am a nerd.

  • I love computers.

  • As long as I remember, I build computers for my friends.

  • My family and I talk computers and I sleep computers.

  • And if you give me a chance to talk about something other than cars, it's gonna be computers.

  • This channel started as, ah dare because I like to talk about this stuff.

  • And someone dared me that the channel would go somewhere and I said it wouldn't, and it did.

  • But I treat this like I do hanging out with my friends.

  • I'm hanging out with you guys talking about this stuff tryingto give you tutorials and guides, tips and tricks to make your computer experience better.

  • If you're new at this, when we do reviews, I expect to be giving you guys an opinion based on what is available to you.

  • This is not what you guys were getting.

  • Hopefully you're not getting this experience, too.

  • But unfortunately, the comments on the last video showed that a lot of people are getting experiences like this with retail stuff.

  • So I there's enough variance there to be able to say that I have no idea with the retail experience is right now, with this motherboard and this See you because we were not given the retail motherboard, which is just a complete undermined of what this channel is all about.

  • That basically says, build a thing, show everybody and then get everyone all excited.

  • So logo on by it, that makes me their marketing.

  • And that's not the point of this channel.

  • So yes, M s I n e m d did sponsor this built.

  • They did sponsor this, and it all worked perfectly fine until we flash the bios.

  • Like I said, unfortunately, we were never warned that slashing a bios onto this motherboard from a production bios could brick it.

  • Maybe I'm the 1st 1 to do it, and I'm the 1st 1 to experience it.

  • I have no idea if one of my fellow reviewers are watching and you guys are brave enough to back up your bios flash the production went on here and see what happens.

  • I would love for someone to validate that.

  • This is 100% what happened.

  • But I'm a sample of one, and I have no other boards to test.

  • We are up and running right now, though, so I'm gonna try flashing some or bios on here.

  • It says 1.11 No, which is actually version 11 so 110.11 And I want to see now what exactly happens if we just kind of roll through all the bios, other things we've tried since the weekend The weekend transpired.

  • A lot of you were like, Hey, take out there.

  • Hey, we got to boot back to back.

  • That's crazy.

  • Um, takeout Ram sticks.

  • We've seen Ram cause we're tp issues that worked once, and then it didn't work again on Friday.

  • After that video went live M s, I e mailed me and was like, You know, Jay, this could have all been fixed with a simple bias fix if you just talk to us.

  • And then they realized, oh, the bios he used that would fix it.

  • That's what broke.

  • It was basically like, get the bios that came with this motherboard, and they're like, we can't find it.

  • So the only reason updated the BIOS is because I wanted to be on the most current potential voltage fix, Whatever.

  • There's been some maturity that's happened in the last two months since the third generation has launched and I wanted to make sure on the latest and greatest cause.

  • If I do a video talking about voltages and stuff and I'm on an outdated bios, specifically a launch bios, then that's another point of, um, variance there that could cause skewed results.

  • And that's not what I'm trying to do here.

  • This is not some witch hunt against and me, like a lot of you think that it is.

  • So as I load this bios, which is not the ABA bios, we'll just wait here and see what happens.

  • The other thing I want to address while this is kind of going is the idea of me deleting comments calling me out in the previous video.

  • There are 6000 comments on that video, and if you think I'm sitting there reading all of them and deleting the ones that I think like take a hit to my ego, will you give me more credit than credit is due because I don't have that kind of time.

  • Secondly, I learned about wearing hardware on box, comment, being deleted on Twitter and email and instagram and everyone starting to bombard me because of the reddit hive mentality.

  • Everyone somehow believing that I'm going around to leading comments then is coming at me in ways trying to attack me, saying, You pieces, Why're you do leading comments in this in that?

  • Because you suck.

  • And it's like, What are these people talking about?

  • Already proved on Twitter?

  • I didn't delete any comments.

  • They got spam filtered eight hours after the fact because even though he got 1.2000 likes on that at the time that it was spam filtered anyone that went into his threat and posted a link to whatever article or whatever external sight you guys got him span filtered, not me.

  • External links of the quickest way to get not only yourself and the original comment Spam filter Because of the way you two panels external links Because of malicious collectors, people could be linking to anything with a spoofed Web address going to God knows what.

  • So YouTube pretty much automatically puts that and the original comment in span.

  • So don't blame me.

  • Blame yourself if you put a link on that comment, his comment is now public again, along with Emma Size does M s.

  • I, for whatever reason, also got spam filter So if you think I'm out there deleting comments cause I don't like people were saying like I said, you give me way too much credit.

  • The only comment I do usually delete are the first comments because it's fun to watch them.

  • Like I was first to know I'm not what's happening and then, like a whole discussion will take place about first word.

  • My first comment go.

  • I think we can all agree.

  • That's okay.

  • First comments are YouTube cancer.

  • Secondly, I will only delete also comments that have zero contribution to the discussion.

  • And they're nothing but toxic and derogatory and usually like profanity laced big diatribes of people that just want, Oh, try and tear people down, not even against me.

  • But if you treat someone else that way, too, I will often just hide your comments.

  • And then nothing you say ever get seen again so that I'm guilty of that I will always do.

  • If you go up there and act like that, you're gonna get hidden.

  • But I don't hide other youtubers.

  • That's I mean, that's kind of goes without saying so Anyway, wear flashing this bias right now.

  • Version 13.

  • I don't think it's gonna work because what I think is happening here, there's some sort of difference on here, whether it be any problem or some sort of Ah, smd, whatever.

  • Some sort of a sick on here is different.

  • I don't know what it is, but that's why these BIOS are probably breaking so and he's off the hook.

  • Obviously, they were kind of like a way don't really control that, but what I would think a MD would want to do it.

  • We put a tighter noose on the manufacturers of the motherboards that air controlling their CPU or putting their CPU in because ultimately that's gonna control the total am the experience.

  • And there's a lot of comments and created a previous video of people saying that they're dealing with random wackiness with their AM BEA systems, and we've seen it here first hand.

  • But you guys are gonna believe me.

  • You guys think I'm an Intel.

  • She'll Intel's paid me a whopping $0 to sell out way.

  • Heard that the 39 50 X has been delayed till November, which made a lot of people upset.

  • But I don't look, You can't get mad at the brand for wanting to delay something until it's right.

  • If something's launching has problems, you guys air quick toe hanging the brand and be like you should have delayed this.

  • You should have delayed it.

  • But then when they delay, Zoro did late.

  • Now I'm just gonna go by Intel.

  • We're gonna wait two more months or whatever it's You guys can't have it both ways.

  • You can't demand a perfect product on time, but then when it's on time, that's not perfectly demanded.

  • Delay it.

  • But then they delay it.

  • You're mad that it's delayed.

  • You can't have it both ways.

  • So I get Andy props for delaying that.

  • Clearly, something has happened, whether it be seven centimeter manufacturing time or materials or whatever it is, whether it be motherboard, compatibility, ease, I don't know.

  • But you've got to give at least credit where credit is due there, so we can attribute pretty much everything that we're experiencing here with this system.

  • That was the height of my frustration in my previous video, which was clearly emotionally fueled.

  • Two.

  • A board we should have never been sent with no heads up that production bios can break it.

  • I know that sounds like a passing the blame.

  • I think that's a shared blame I take the blame of not realizing was a production board or having it be that production that pre production We've never experienced this before.

  • We have never experienced a motherboard that was sent, and I had a pissing match with someone on Twitter that was claiming You guys get 2 to 4 weeks to get these videos ready and you have 2 to 4 weeks to play with it so you can get all ironed out before the videos get live.

  • No, we might get the products as early as two weeks before launch, but we don't get drivers and we don't get bios.

  • And we don't get things that are needed to do our testing sometimes until hours before launch, as soon as 24 hours prior to launch.

  • Sometimes we're still waiting on GPU drivers.

  • We might have them because channels will try and cash in on these stupid unboxing videos two weeks ahead of time so the brands will send stuff early enough here.

  • You could look at it in a box it, but it's a brick until we send you this offer to support it.

  • So no, we don't get that kind of time to test on this sort of stuff, like the first time this system ever boot.

  • It was when I built this system and that was a good month and 1/2 after launch.

  • Whatever it was.

  • So obviously this system's not coming back.

  • At least not until we can get our hands on Um, the original bios from this.

  • If you're a peer of mine too, and you've got this motherboard, you feel like ripping the bios and backing up and sending it to me.

  • I would accept that as well.

  • This says it has a bio swish, and I believe this to be a duel bio system.

  • But when we switched to the other bios, we don't get a boot either.

  • How about we just turned the little over clock Wheeldon nine and see what happens?

  • That's also one of the stupidest features on a motherboard.

  • Two is over.

  • Clocking dial.

  • It's pretty stupid.

  • Started on turned itself on and yeah, we did try the pulling of the Ram and using one sticking all that in a different take of this video which we decided to start over.

  • Okay, so here's basically why this video is made so I can clear the air.

  • That one.

  • This is on me for not realizing that this is a pre pre production board.

  • It's also shared blame with M s I for not warning us that this is a super pre production board that production bios will Brick.

  • Um, it's also on me for getting pretty upset in the previous video because anyone would be upset with these types of issues and things on debts.

  • Be honest.

  • I've had issues with Emma sideboards in the past, and I think this was just a little bit of a boiling point for me.

  • And then, um, it's not on me for deleting comments because I didn't do that.

  • And that has to be publicly addressed because that was causing the serious issues with integrity, with a lot of people claiming that I was too leading comments which is extremely shady, which I didn't do.

  • The proof is on Twitter.

  • You wanna believe it or not?

  • I don't really care.

  • At this point, I already proved my innocence there.

  • So send off in the comments below.

  • You want to rebuild it with the new motherboard, Or do you want me to just let this one go?

  • We've got more builds to do.

  • We've got nebula to finish.

  • We've got another small for in fact, smallish form factor custom mod to do.

  • And I've got a Camaro seemed PC to do for that's being raffled away at a special event happening in October.

  • So we got a lot of bills to do, which is why I don't necessarily have time to do this again.

  • So anyway, sun up in the comments below.

  • Thanks for hearing me out, guys.

  • You guys could do whatever you want with this.

  • I really don't care.

  • I'm not discussing this one again.

  • I put it all out there and, uh, sorry, Andy, for blaming this one on you.

  • He's blaming it on one of your partners.

  • Partially.

  • Whatever.

  • Thanks for watching guys.

  • We'll see in the next booth.

we're back.
