  • So to celebrate, I brought on my new friend, Rachel, from Rachel's English Who's happens to live in New York City.

  • Oh, thank you for coming.

  • So you like a Long Island iced tea, don't you?

  • I do.

  • I know I'm not supposed to, but I like it.

  • That's okay.

  • You can like whatever you wanna like.

  • Okay, They like I like it.

  • It's a free country, America.

  • It is.

  • Which Segways me nicely into Rachel's English, which is your channel, My channel.

  • And you teach American English pronunciation.

  • Yeah, I d'oh.

  • To help out non native speakers who might wanna be more easily understood.

  • You have a very nice accent.

  • Thank you.

  • You're welcome.

  • Okay.

  • Well, are you ready to drink?

  • Yeah.

  • Cool.

  • Already.

  • Cool.

  • Great.

  • Well, so this drink has all these liquors in it.

  • It's got a lot of liquors and some cola and some sweet and sour mix, but I think that stuff's kind of disgusting.

  • So I was gonna put you in charge of squeezing some lemons and limes.

  • Just make our own little sweetened south picks it.

  • Meanwhile, I'm gonna measure one ounce of each of these booze is so we've got vodka, gold, tequila, gin, triple sec and Rahm I'm using, like, the hugely giant proof 1 51 which probably should just use regular.

  • Probably considering roof.

  • The other liquors that are in many, many other booze is here.

  • But you know what?

  • Let's live on the edge a little.

  • You want me to do all for these things?

  • I think I think we will need off.

  • Okay.

  • Yes.

  • It turns out I'm not that fast at this, okay?

  • I'm I'm measuring slowly.

  • Okay, Measure twice.

  • Drink once.

  • Okay, But also, it's supposed to measure twice, cut once, which is good for sewing.

  • Also, I was just about to say the same thing.

  • Do so do so.

  • I don't see Oh, my gosh.

  • Dresses first.

  • Weird.

  • Second, I thought you were gonna say, Let's so each other's butts.

  • What?

  • Why did your mind go there?

  • You know, that's a question.

  • I have myself several times a day.

  • Just, um, and a little bit of a perv, I guess.

  • Did I get all the liquor's in here?

  • You know, like I got this busy with these things.

  • I don't think I got the room.

  • I had, like, four drinks today.

  • Just working.

  • We're going that good.

  • What?

  • He's calling it a day looks great.

  • Yeah.

  • So what we need the recipe calls for five ounces of sour mix.

  • So what I'm gonna dio is measure like maybe like two or three ounces of this freshly squeezed Citrus.

  • Very fresh, very freshly squeezed.

  • And then add some little simple syrup.

  • But that's one ounce.

  • That top thing on the bottom is announcing 1/2 and then we'll d'oh!

  • Two ounces of that and then three ounces.

  • And this is just some water that I've sweetened with a ga ve because were in California, I can tell they do things that tastes like really good sweet sour mix.

  • It does.

  • That's much better than buying sour way better.

  • Yeah, summer mix to me is just, like, gnarly.

  • Okay, now, hola.

  • I'm not gonna say what brand it iss Okay, You know what?

  • I probably should have just added this to our individual glasses, but at any rate, aren't those like the most beautiful ice tea glasses and you never imagine squeeze.

  • We've got a nice little homey look floating around in there with a little co p.

  • Yeah, totally feel healthy.

  • It does, even though it's like 100% liquor.

  • So before you were an English pronunciation language teacher, you were an opera singer.

  • That's right.

  • That's pretty awesome.

  • I've never met an opera singer.

  • Really?

  • No e they don't grow on trees.

  • Come on, E.

  • I guess that's true.

  • You for about 10 years.

  • Can you sing me something?

  • What you wanna hear?

  • Uh, just like, singly Name.

  • Oh, overboard.

  • Holy allowed.

  • I'm sorry.

  • I should have warned you that it can get wonder.

  • Especially when it's we're very close.

  • Very close.

  • Proximity paradise, guys.

  • Sorry, I apologize.

  • I will report this.

  • Okay.

  • Well, that was amazing.

  • So I think I was messed up earlier, and I put the coke in early.

  • I think I'm supposed to just do this, Guys, in case you haven't noticed, not a bartender that looks more familiar to me.

  • Yeah.

  • Should I stir it or just let it go?

  • Let it go.

  • Okay.

  • Yeah, One time when I was in Ah, my first year of college it community college.

  • This guy, he was like, 18 like you know I was, but he had the full beard.

  • He really looked like he was 21.

  • He was telling me that he's never gotten drunk.

  • Except one time.

  • He did go to Applebee's, and they told him that the spent drink special of the day was a Long Island iced tea.

  • And he was, like, on I love Ice Team.

  • He was so sincere.

  • I know.

  • I had no idea.

  • I know he had no idea, and he ordered two of them.

  • Oh, and then he was leaving after he drank one.

  • He still had no idea.

  • I think I think he must have chugged it cause it was so refreshing here.

  • That's that's a testament to how good they are.

  • That's true.

  • You don't even know that.

  • There's five ounces of liquor and nothing to be embarrassed about.

  • Rachel.

  • Thank you.

  • Doesn't like delicious iced tea.

  • Yeah.

  • Just goes down really easy, dude.

  • Yeah, It's just like a light limiting.

  • It is.

  • It's a great summer beverage.

  • It is.

  • Oh, my God.

  • I'm gonna be on, like, a vision.

  • Hamptons.

  • Is that just all you do in your free time?

  • Yeah, that's what I do.

  • Pretty much from me.
