The "Nightcap" that we're doing really continues that thread, so across the street we'll have a little interview and talk with John, but he has programmed music by students, friends, and colleagues of his that died of AIDS. I'm totally giving it over to the young composers that I knew way back then. I want the audience to know that we lost a lot with AIDS, and these creative forces they will hear are so good and so meaningful that it will, I think, bring a different kind of sorrow to the table, sorrow of, What have we lost in art? I think it's a really special concert. It's really important. It's gonna be interesting to have such an intimate look at this in a room that seats barely over a hundred people, and I just think it's gonna be a really special night.
