Now, I've spoken about these TSA locks before, and my general view is that they are all equally worthless.

That's because the lock is on Lee A secure as its weakest element, and all of them share the same weakness.

They open with one of seven publicly known and readily available TSA keys just like this one.

We find the keyhole right on the back, and we can pop it open quickly.

I've said it before.

These locks are generally good for making sure your luggage doesn't accidentally fall open, and that's about it.

But we're not here to rehash that.

I wanted to look at this interesting mechanism that opens with a punch card.

We just stick it in the slot on the side and it pops right open and you'll notice.

If I don't use the side with those holes, it will not open it all.

I featured similar mechanisms in videos 5 29 and 7 92 which I'll link in the description, but these are essentially the same as a dimple lock, just with fewer pins and a little bit easier to pick.

So let's see what it takes to get this one open.

There is a small lever down in this slot, which I am going to push with a small tension tool.

And then I'm just going to rake across the pins with this wave rake, and just that quickly, we got it open.

Now it bears note that the TSA core is just Azizi to pick, and I usually don't even have to use a tension tool.

So it's certainly an interesting little lock, though a bit on the gimmicky side.

However, I'm not sure I can justify the $14 this sells for on Amazon when it provides about the same security as TSA locks costing less than a dollar.
