We've had this extraordinary opportunity these last 10 days to host the inaugural class of the Zarin Mehta fellows here at the New York Philharmonic. I'm Scott Reed, president and CEO of Music Academy of the West. This partnership we have with the New York Philharmonic is an ideal opportunity for music Academy of the West instrumentalist to experience the life of one of the world's greatest orchestras, that being the New York Philharmonic. For me, the high point of the week was when I'd finished playing with first concert with Phil and looking out at the audience at the end and realizing that I just performed with the New York Philharmonic stepping out on the stage. It was a mixture of nervousness and excitement. I felt very encouraged by the members, especially in the chamber music we played. I had no idea how much went outraged the orchestra is doing. I was amazed by the educational programs that New York Phil does. This is such a great opportunity for the students toe have to really get the inner workings of what goes on behind the scenes and also on stage during rehearsals and performance. People always ask me, Well, what do you want do when you grow up? And I said, Well, one day I'm gonna play with New York Philharmonic. I did it. I played for near Philharmonic. So now it's kind of like now what? Everybody at the Music Academy of the West wants to thank the incredible team at the New York Philharmonic for putting this global academy together. We look forward to many, many more classes of those Aaron, Mate, two fellows.
