Holding everything closed is a five pin dimple core with a plastic dust cover.

Dimple locks have a reputation for being more secure, but there's nothing inherently tricky about thumb, particularly when they're put together with sloppy tolerances like this one.

I wouldn't expect this lock to slow down an experienced dimple picker for more than a few seconds.
