Usually it's bumper to bumper traffic during the morning commute.

From what I see, people are taking the stay at home order very seriously.

Hollywood Boulevard is normally packed with tourists.

Today it's a ghost town.

Here in New York, the governor ordered drastic measures starting Sunday night.

All non essential businesses are being order to send their workers home, and people have been told to stay off public transportation.

It's all in an effort to keep the state's 20 million people indoors as much as possible.

If you do go out, for example, to get some food, you must stay six feet apart, the governor says.

All of this is not just helpful advice.

These restrictions will be enforced among the essential service is allowed to stay open grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, gas stations, hospitals, police and fire taxi drivers, dry cleaners, laundromats, sanitation workers and bakeries.
