when all of a sudden, intercepted. 4

A dog walker tackled the suspect 5

fleeing from police to the ground. 6

His sweet dog looks on, as officers step in and take over. 7

It happened in Queensland, Australia. 8

It all started about a minute earlier. 9

Police were trying to apprehend the suspect 10

in a white pick-up truck they said he stole. 11

But he drove away. 12

The suspect then races the wrong way down roads, 13

nearly striking oncoming cars, weaving through lanes, 14

eventually abandoning the vehicle, 15

when police said a tire deflation device was deployed. 16

He starts running over a bridge, when he meets his match: 17

a dog walker wearing flip flops, who takes him down. 18

Police say the driver was charged with 19

unlawful use of a motor vehicle 20

and they're looking for the quick thinking dog walker, 21

to commend him for a job well done. 22

It's not clear if the suspect has entered a plea. 23
