My name is Jessica, and I have just spent seven and a half slash eight weeks in Malaysia with my wife

who is half Malaysian, and it was amazing- it was the whole... trip of a lifetime

We've vlogged it all and you can see all of that

But one of the things that we did an awful lot whilst out there was shop

We live in England and the pound is very strong against the Malaysian Ringgit quite a few of you asked me to show you

The things that we bought whilst we're out there, so here is a massive haul of

beauty, jewelry, a lot of hair bows, shoes

Which also have bows on. I've bought an awful lot of clothes... so many clothes, that would be basically its own video

But you could just go and see them on my Instagram

Such as this lovely dress if you would like to see this dress in full

First of all, I haven't opened much of this because I will just show it to you first

But if you have any experience with any of these items, please let me know

Also if you can read the languages that the instructions are in, and there's something

important that you think I should know, please also tell me that. First product

I just could not resist, it's a one-day tattoo lasting eyeliner

I tried this in the shop on my hand, we then went swimming

Showered and whatnot for three days and it didn't come off. This is just the first of many

various Korean makeup things we purchased

I then bought a second eyeliner because

This one's black that one's dark brown. And I'm a vintage girl, so I get through a lot of eyeliner

It's not just the eyeliner that I would like to stay on my face for more than 24 hours. Oh no

It's eyebrows too! It's also Disney and has Ariel on it

I also drew on my other hand, with this one, and equally, it did not come off

And then more eyebrow pencils... These two eyebrow pencils

They are 15 ringgit each which is under three pounds

This was one of my absolute all-time favorite discoveries

Had no idea about the company the bomb before and I have clearly been missing out

Every single item they have, all the packaging is very

vintagey and

They have these blushes that I absolutely love they're like nineteen fifties magazine covers

Why has no one told me this exists before? Come on people! That's just the kind of thing I love!

This palette is the matte palette it's called meet Matt and these are some of the

Beautiful matte colors that we have in here. They all have names like Matt Lin

Matt Thomas, which I think is hilarious even though I don't particularly like having men on my face.

My goodness did we win with the exchange rate, and I got this lovely Kat Von D

This is normally 30 pounds to UK, that doesn't include shipping, but I got it in Malaysia for under 20

Okay, the last two makeup related items. Are

Beautiful false eyelashes. I wear a lot of false eyelashes just because I don't- I have very blonde eyelashes

And look at this beautiful powder!

I got this from a market a store

I mainly bought it just for the packaging. It was also

3 ringgit! How much is that? Less than sixty P. I mean, I'm not entirely sure whether it actually is face powder...?

Might also just be a block of talcum powder

Not positive on that. I haven't actually put it on my face yet... And after all that makeup

We're obviously going to need to clean our lovely faces. I've managed to get my hands on

pearl powder

apparently it's amazing for

Cleaning your face. First cleanse facial skin. Pour proper amount of seaweed particles and water

Take off after 30 to 40 minutes

Use three times a day three times a day.

Three times a day!?

Is that a thing? Do you do this? Please someone tell me?

We also picked up these! Which I'm pretty sure are those tiny flannels they give you in restaurants that you pop into water

And then they expand and it means that you can wash your face

Every day with a new flannel, so there's no dirtiness

This is the pearl thingy, but in rose!

I don't know why we are really into this

We have decided we're gonna sit every night with face masks on

Moving away from makeup

Sorry, if you're not a makeup person and that was probably very boring for you, but onto hair!

Sorry, also if you're not a hair and makeup person. There are shoes!

This thing I just had to get because it was 2 ringgit

I know it's probably something that I could manage to do with my fingers

But I would really like to try this out and then get back to you on how it is for people who have limited dexterity

On these days when my fingers aren't working so well

And my wrists are all floppy and I can't actually, you know, feel through my skin so well

This is something that I could use that would be really helpful in making my hair look fancy

I also got what is essentially a bump-it and the essentials. We had to of course get many of these

These quite didn't even discover. Sorry I say these, they're the

flexible plasticky

Thingamajigs that you use as hair bands that then don't leave any kind of a dent in your hair

I sleep with one every single night if I don't have my hair in rollers

I just keep all my hair up on the top of my head

And then I just go to sleep and I make sure that I don't roll on my hair and smoosh it all out

But it also maintains the curl without setting in any kind of new curl pattern. Okay that is the answer when people ask me

The really common question, what do you do you with your hair in between setting what you do those nights? That is the answer

As you may or may not have noticed, but probably have noticed, my eyes aren't the largest things in fact

I used to all the time, have friends or family look at pictures of me and say oh no your eyes are closed!

No they are fully open...

A lot of the Chinese girls or Chinese-Malay girls in Malaysia were wearing

We noticed um

Circle lenses! It does actually make her eyes look bigger or at least it did for them

So I'm gonna try them out and see if that's the same for me

How much do you want- I've never put contact lenses in my eyes in my life!

So how much would you like me to film that happening?

So next up we have an adorable little broach

As such, I also got these two brooches. The final tiny thing is something that's not related to beauty in anyway

It is this thing!

It's a massager thing, it helps the massage

I like to give Claudia a foot rub every night while we watch TV because I can't watch TV and do nothing

So we've done makeup, we've done beauty and accessories. It's onto shoes!

I just had wanted to buy nice shoes the whole way through

But I have quite a bad circulatory system

Feet are generally completely swollen. But on the penultimate day

We'd spent quite a lot of time in the aircon and my feet had shrank down

I actually bought five pairs of shoes a day... Three of them are from the

Lui-Lui brand which I just discovered and am now obsessed with! I need a black-tie event someone invite me to a black-tie event please

I'd like to go. I then tried on an array of incredibly sparkly shoes and settled on these ones.

They are surprisingly comfortable. I was not expecting that at all

They are all padded and cushioned inside which is delightful, and I thought these bits would rub but they are soft

Right before I walked into the shop that was selling all of these shoes. I turned to Claudia and said:

"I'm not going to buy anything that a princess wouldn't wear"

And then these were the first shoes I saw!

They would be good for a state occasion...

A visit to a foreign country

And if maybe you thought those weren't princessy enough

These aren't from that brand, they are from a brand called Nose

And this is an absolutely lovely little thing

Look at this, it has a tiny bit of elastic in the back

Which means that if your foot is a little...

Too small for the shoe,

It will still be comfortably held in. You don't have to put any padding in the back

Next exciting thing, all four of those pairs of shoes were only about 120 ringgit each

Now of course, you didn't think that I would go to the land of..

Very very well-priced hair accessories and not come back with...

An entire box of bows!

We have the large, floppy bird style

Medium, slightly more structured bow style

Bow attached to a hairband

Stiff bow style

The long thin both style

And the structured, sparkly bow style

Because you know, bows on your shoes, bows on your belt, maybe there's a bow on my top, bows on my hair.

So for a final part, I'm gonna show you my two new absolute

Favorite necklaces.

These babies!

These are Borneo pearls, and they're sold pretty much everywhere in Malaysia for very obvious reasons

I have a chain of pearls that I wear a lot, you've probably seen them

That are my grandmother's, that my grandfather gave her, and so I wanted something that looked in a little bit different

Claudia walked past a pearl shop and was like: "I need to get you some pearls!"

So these are...

A larger..

Larger pearl.. These are definitely more of a rosy color, where as my other ones are quite white

Clamshell clasp

That's a hard thing to say

I think that's why Claudia bought these particular ones for me

She just really liked the clasp. And the other necklace is obviously the one I am wearing right this very second

Which I designed myself. I knew that I really really wanted a necklace that

symbolized my love, my wife and

also, that kind of coming along the lines of

Anne Boleyn's necklace

Her "B" necklace which I mean

We probably shouldn't style ourselves an Anne Boleyn ever that won't end well, but her necklace choices were lovely

And I just couldn't find it anywhere. Of course the day before we left

The day before, I thought hang on. Why don't you just get someone to make it for me, and you would think you're leaving in 24 hours Jessica

That's a stupid idea

No you were wrong

He made it in an hour
