This is the smallest of the model 75 lakhs at just 30 millimeters wide.

And it seems to stack up pretty well against other locks of similar size and price.

Now lock this small can't be expected to resist much in the way of brute force.

So my focus when looking at something this size is usually nondestructive entry.

My main reservation there is that this can probably be Shinde open.

We open the padlock we can see down the shackle hole.

And there you can clearly see the spring loaded locking lugs that can most likely be pushed aside.

However, if you're going to take advantage of that, you're probably going to have to make your own tools, because that shackle was so small that none of my commercially available shins will fit in.

As for the core, we have a five pin dimple lock that is filled with spools and has a nice, tight little key way.

So let's see what it takes to pick this open.

Got him set number two some or counter rotation.

He feels set.

Same on three.

Three feel set.

Same on four.

Every go for feel set.

And number five, I just slipped off a number five.

Here we go.

Okay, We got this open, and that was a lot faster than I expected.

But this is probably one of those occasions where pick time is not an accurate proxy for the amount of skill required for an open.

This is something that will usually require an experienced dimple picker.
