When it comes to towing products, the lock has a two piece casting construction, with one piece sitting under the lug nut and a second locking over it so that lug nut can't be lucid.

Securing everything is a fairly basic looking way for core, which, I suspect even a novice could open relatively quickly.

But we are going to test that out right now.

I'm going to use a thin wiper insert for attention and to open it.

Let's try this wave rake.

Okay, we open that very quickly.

Let's do that a couple more times just to make sure that was not a fluke open again and one last time.

Okay, so as you saw, this is trivially easy to open with a low skill raking attack.

That's not to say it's useless.

It's better than nothing, but I certainly wouldn't hang an expensive alloy wheel on the back of my SUV and expect this to do anything material to stop theft.
