It's the Vulcan Moto lock to, ah, lock that's made in Venezuela.

But it appears that at least some of the parts probably the plug and keys are made in Italy by Jesu.

So what we have is a nickel plated solid brass lock body, which fits around a motorcycle disc brake rotor and then locks in place with this 10 millimeter bolt.

The court is a six pin dimple design with a somewhat tricky key way, so it should provide some challenge.

So let's see if that is the case.

I'm going to put some tension in there with a normal wiper insert and then to get around that interesting little warding there.

I'm going to be using a curved flag from my multi pick dimple set.

But frankly, it's not the pick resistance that bothers me about this lock.

It is the brass construction.

While that is very weather resistant, it's not a very good choice for resisting brute force.

Given that Venezuela has one of the highest motorcycle theft rates in the world, I expected to find some hardened inserts or something to make it just a little bit tougher.

But what we have here is something that will stop opportunistic theft, but not much more.
