We got to wondering how prevalent is the virus.

On the surfaces we touch is Cove in 19 lurking everywhere, which is our greatest fear and the reason we wear masks and gloves.

So we armed ourselves with more than a dozen of these special vials and swab commonly touched surfaces.

Wearing protective gloves, we carefully swab taxi touchscreens, ticket kiosks and subway poles.

Way even tried the toilet flusher in public bathrooms on soap dispensers.

Then we sent all 14 samples off to the I E H Labs for analysis in Seattle.

So what's it our test revealed?

Well, thankfully, we've got some good news.

Despite over 13,000 positive cases in New York City, none of our samples showed any evidence of Corona virus fascinating results.

And personally, they're very hopeful.

People have gotten the message, and they are disinfecting aggressively and obsessively as well as people cleaning their hands are.

But experts say that doesn't mean the virus won't be on the next surface.

Most resistant surface is copper, where it disappears after just four hours.

I suspect there's gonna be a whole new appreciation of surface sanitation in the future.

I think no one is going to look at a metal rail and a handle and a door not quite the same way.
