It's been a roller coaster of emotions for MEREDITH Ganz.

Hman and her fiance, Andrew, came in.

They were all packed and ready for their big wedding day.

There's the tuba, a guest signing book and presence here.

Except this pile of precious cargo isn't leaving their New York City apartment anytime soon now that they've been forced to hit pause on their nuptials due to the Corona virus pandemic.

We were determined to get married this Saturday and very quickly.

That just became untenable for MEREDITH.

This isn't the first time someone in her family had to postpone a wedding due to a virus.

Her great grandmother also had to move her wedding because of the flu pandemic of 1918.

It hit New York in September, so it wasn't exact timing.

But we couldn't help but feel suspect of perhaps there being a coincidence here, or at least the fact that go back a few generations and you have the same situation up a marriage meeting to be postponed.

For now, Andrew's tuxedo stays tucked away in this garment bag while they figure out a new date for my grand grandmother and mother had a wonderful marriage, so I can only hope that's been something that I've been holding to.

That if history is repeating itself for whatever reason, it will be.

Perhaps, you know, a piece of luck for us to take when we are able to be married.

Their marriage license is only good for 60 days, so they might have to go back to City Hall for a new one at some point.

Still, this couple is staying upbeat, and even a month ago, we never would have thought this was coming down the pike even a week ago.

So, yes, I guess there is a good sign that, you know, people come out of this, come out of it in the most important way to have a happy marriage.
