One Direction's Niall Horan has been partying with the Queen.

Yes, musical royalty met actual royalty at an event in Buckingham Palace which helped

mark the contribution made by Irish people in Britain.

The Queen hosted a reception for more than 300 Irish people including the 1D star, as

well as X Factor judge Louis Walsh.

But it wasn't Niall's first Royal visit. Along with the rest of the band, he met the Queen

after they appeared at the Royal Variety Performance in November 2012.

Niall has reportedly described the palace as mind-blowing and even joked about asking

her majesty if she wanted to come to the show. Looks like you might have a new fan there, guys.
