And apparently they have reindeer and pygmy goats. - Yeah! - I'm more excited about that to be fair. - And well of course, obviously it's a farm so Claudia's very excited about the farm aspect. - Yeah-- - But I'm very excited about the Christmas trees. (festive rock music) There's a peacock, this is not a drill, there's a peacock! Yeah there it is. Hello you beauty! - I don't know if that's a nice peacock. (birds chirping) - Claudia told me it's fine, when I asked her how my shoes were for this trip. Lower. ♪ Oh it's such a charming-- ♪ - It's like a nature walk, come on, a mushroom! ♪ There's nobody at the door ♪ - Oh! A mushroom! Hey hang on, hang on, it's a hill, I'm trying not to fall down. - A woodpecker tree. And over there it says that's a owl's roost. Okay, are you okay? - Yes. Can we go and look at actual Christmas trees now? Thank you! (festive rock music) Oh, used by Native Americans for wigwams. But it's so spiky! - I'm like all this information. - [Jessica] I know, you love a good fact. - Smell. - [Jessica] Don't know if I'm a fan of citrus. It's not what I want for my Christmas tree. Supports, represents our area. Apparently it's the Fraser Fir, which is the most popular tree in the USA and it smells so good. I did just poke myself in the face but also it smells amazing. I didn't know that Korea made Christmas Trees. - [Claudia] Knobbly bits. - [Jessica] Knobbly bits she says. Sure, sure, sure. - [Claudia] What have we got? - Oh, hi guys, hello! - Pygmy goats. - [Jessica] How you doing? Hello donkeys, hi. Okay, don't be mean. (Jessica clucking) (chuckling) (festive instrumental music) So, we're walking along, Claudia just pointed out she can now spot trees. Clearly this is a Korean one. Guess which type of tree it is! Which we could do all year 'round to be fair. But still, Korean. - I fell over! - Please don't die. You're the only one of you I have. - [Claudia] Oh, let's go! - [Jessica] Okay! It's just not, but it's very full. - [Claudia] What is it? A Norman Fir? A Sussex spruce. - No, I think it's a Norwegian. - [Claudia] Oh. - I believe. Fact check me later. - And I'm not gonna cut one of these down, I mean look how big they are! - Wait, use me for scale. I'm the scale. I wanna bring kids here. - Oh no. - Wouldn't that be really nice? - I appreciate how trees grow and that we should like, value them in our homes. - Yeah, and we can chose together as a family. - Yeah, and I can cut it down? - Yeah, you can bring a big ax, they let you cut your own tree down. - But today we're just gonna get one of the pre-cut ones. - That seems wise. - Yeah. We'll go back and chose it. - Okay. (festive rock music) (festive instrumental music) (laughing) - [Jessica] Animal whisperer. Okay, your feet are on the ground? - Yeah, where else would they be? - (chuckling) Shush! You're my measurement. Some of these are suitably strong but a little too small. - These are massive! - I want the purple tag! But do you think purple tag is too big? - Well they're near eight foot, they're massive. Very nice. - Oh my gosh it's so pretty! Our tree! - [Claudia] It's a bit big I think, darling. - You chose it. - [Claudia] You can't even put your arms around it! - Yes I can! They're touching, it's fine. (festive rock music) A man just brought this to our car for us. It's the first year we've not had to drag it in ourselves. She's so pretty! I'm so happy! Here is the tree. We made some excellent life decisions today. - I hurt my fingernail. Sorry to be swearing but like, there. Feel sorry for me. - I do. Oh, (burbling). (giggling) I love you so much. - I love you too. - Aw, you can't tell that I'm smiling at you from the other side. - It's like a wedding veil. What a treat to come out for a roast, I wasn't expecting it. This morning when I took dog walking, such a nice day for a nice roast in a pub with a nice fire. - Oh wow. (gentle rock music) So right now it is two twenty in the afternoon, two twenty P.M. and it is dark. - Did you see the birds from behind there? - [Jessica] The sun is setting. (key clacking) (keys jingling) Claud just brought the tree in from the car by herself! But like, it's one of the most impressive and attractive things that I've ever seen her do. (tree rustling) - [Claudia] Well, if we ever need to move a dead body. (laughing) - Prepared. All right, scissors? - No baby, you put it up first and then you do the scissors and I forgot the scissors. (tree crackling) - [Claudia] It just fits. - No it's perfect. - [Claudia] All right, don't kill me. - [Jessica] (chuckling) What with a tree? What a way to go! - [Claudia] Drop it with some force so it lands on that pin. (tree thudding) Whoa! Why was I shocked by that? - [Claudia] I just told you-- - You just told me it was coming! - All right, hold it straight, yeah? (tree stand clomping) - What even is straight? Water your tree. - Why didn't you use the tiny little watering can we've got? It has a spout. - [Jessica] Water your tree. Okay, okay, are you ready, are you ready? - Ready. - It's coming. - [Claudia] Make sure no branches whack you in the face as they release themselves. - [Jessica] Oh! Ta-da! (festive jazz music) We are now-- Oh, wow, that's really bumpy! We'll try again in a minute. I'm so excited. Oh wow, motion sickness, sorry. I promise it will fit, I promise!
