And I thought what we would do today is really just stop and take a look at this device and for me to tell you guys why you probably should not buy it.

You know, actually, a lot of people online going around really confused, thinking about if this is the device they want.

Maybe this is what they've been looking for their whole lives.

And no, it's not.

It's it's pretty much absolute garbage for most general people.

And let me tell you why.

So I've had this device the past few days, and what it is is it's essentially an iPad within attachable keyboard, and it runs Windows operating system.

And this the full version of Microsoft Windows.

Now there are love people who go around talking about the specs, and I find that it doesn't really matter, because you can't really compare iPad specs.

For example, to win those specs is completely different.

That device is different.

This is running a huge operating system underneath.

All you need to know is it's pretty slow.

It runs about comparable to a standard iPad.

Mado, I have found it's not blazing fast.

There's still a lot of scroll drank here and there.

As I'm scrolling through Web pages, things just get stuck here and there.

Once you start opening up multiple tabs, maybe playing the YouTube video in the background, it's not going to run that well.

You can play a few three D games here and there, and the way they sell this is there are two different configurations.

There's a four gigabyte memory model that is $400.

If you add 150 bucks, you get eight gigabytes of memory, which is this model, and they give you a faster SSD drive for hardest storage.

And I would recommend the A cake of my mother if you get one.

Because even this a gigabyte model feel sluggish.

If I tried to run a chrome, for example, which is one of the Rose fastest browsers is actually very slow.

You can't really run chrome that well on it like a lot of pages start lagging up when you start scrolling, and where you end up having to do is use Microsoft's Edge browser, which is more optimized for mobile devices and using edge Web browsing actually becomes more usable, strolling a smooth now if you buy the go.

I also recommend getting the detachable keyboard, which is an extra $100 or so.

And the reason is because most of the upset you'll be running on here are going to be standard Windows APS.

They don't really have, ah, good selection of mobile app.

So ah, lot of the standard Microsoft Windows app.

So they're going to expect that you actually have a track pad and a T board were just probably going to make this set up.

That and overall, this case is fine.

It works pretty well.

The typing is fine, and the trackpad works good, so that brings the total press of this 2 $650.

And don't forget that if you want the additional software like if you want Microsoft Office, that's extra, like 10 bucks a month or something like that.

This comes with a webcam as well, and I also really like how it has a USB seaport and you can use that USB seaport for charging, so it works well with my Mac book pro.

I don't need any additional cables to get this going.

Not this is a very fascinating device.

And that times I found myself really amazed and stunned that witness device could do.

Compared to a standard iPad like I can connect this to my home printer and start pretty files.

I can connect the digital camera to this device using the USB seaport and start transferring files and view my digital camera files on here and then post them online.

I can connect the mouse a keyboard.

I could connect the monitor and start using this like a normal that stopped pretty much anything that you expect a normal computer to do.

This can do because it's running standard Microsoft windows, and that's what makes this such an amazing device.

At other times, I find myself completely hating this device because a sort of a hybrid between a laptop and tablet, it does nothing truly right.

So now that we understand what this device is, let me tell you why, in my opinion is probably going to be garbage for most people, like, if you don't know if you need it, you probably aren't going to need it.

And the reasoning is basically that this is a really good tablet, as from not really a good laptop.

And let me tell you why it's not good laptop.

The main reason is, is a 10 inch netbook, basically, since the love APS you'll be running are going to require keyboard or mouse, you're gonna wanna be typing on this and you'll be keeping the computer at arm's length from you so that you can actually type.

But then you'll find that the screen that's so small your eyes start to get damaged.

You're squinting all the time.

You can't see things clearly, so you bring a closer to you and then your back gets hunched over.

Your train's a type, and the screen is really small and is starting to damage your eyes, even though it's still very close to your face.

And it's just not a really good economic position.

I wouldn't wish this on anybody.

I once used the 11 inch laptop, and it was horrible.

I will not do 11 inches again.

Even if you look at Apple, the small screen size they so is at least 12 inches, and even then I might recommend 13 inches minimum for anybody.

I would not want a kid using a 10 inch laptop because it would damage their eyes.

I would not want business people using laptops like this either, because their backs will get hunched over there getting damaged their backs so economically.

I think it's just not very good as a laptop.

You're going to find that this is an exercise in frustration.

Because the screen size is so small, a lot of APS are expecting larger screen sizes.

They just don't lay out that well.

The funds are way too small, and you may also find that this device feels underpowered, like even Chrome, which is supposed to be a very fast Web browser and want the most popular in the world.

I can't run the very smoothly when they start scrolling through Web pages, it starts drinking up.

Now, when I detach it like this, I can use it in tablet move and, well, that solves the economic issues because I can hold this closer to my face now.

But the problem is, there are no APS for this.

Really.

You don't have access to your IOS app so you don't have access to the Andrew Debs what you have is the Windows App store.

But because IOS and Android are so dominant these days, love people aren't making maps for the Windows Store.

There's no Google maps, so you end up having to use Google maps through the Web page, and that experience is pretty junky.

There's no YouTube app, either, so you end up having to watch you two through the Web page as well.

And then you find that the YouTube website was not really designed for touch devices like a lot of inter vases used on Hover State.

Which touch doesn't really have.

So what controls just start appearing and disappearing very quickly.

It doesn't work very well.

You don't have hangouts or Gmail.

While you can access hangouts or Gmail through the Web interface.

You don't get the push notifications, so you're always going to be late when replying to people.

There's a few other APS here and there that they may have.

Like, I guess they have Netflix up.

They have on Instagram at Facebook Messenger.

What's up line?

So there's a few abs here and there, but most of these top absent.

When I look in the rankings, I don't recognize them So even though this device looks like a tablet feels like a tablet, it doesn't run any of the standard tablets software that you're expecting like Iowa's and enjoyed now in terms of gaming.

I tried that a three D game final fancy 15 pocket edition.

Low times were a little bit longer than like it, but the graphics overall held up.

The only problem, I would say, is when you look at the release state.

This game found fancy 15 punk Edition was first released on IOS and Android, and then, six months later, almost like an afterthought, they released them for the Windows App store.

So again, the availability of sulfur is going to hit you here, because over time I think you'll find that love popular suffer just isn't going to be available on this device.

So thinking, look at this package as a whole.

I think it's not a really good laptop experience, and it's not a really good tablet experience, and overall is just going to be an experience in frustration.

Do did this monster in size for a lot of APS.

The funds are going to be just way too hard to read and you'll find that we start trying to tap on buttons using TATP gestures.

None of it really works.

Well, you might keep Mr tapping on things because the AP's just weren't really built with touch in mind.

They were built with a small, precise cursor in mind as a tablet.

The main problem is there's not enough sulfur availability.

I think that if the screen size were larger than that, would at least some of my issue with this, At least from a laptop perspective, it would at least be usable like that.

And then maybe you could use that as a tablet to every now and then if you want to do, and that might be workable.

But I think you have to ask yourself, Really, Why do you want this as a tablet configuration?

There's not a lot of AP support for this.

It's kind of like saying, if you could run Microsoft Windows on your phone, would you want to do that?

Would you really want to start putting up windows trying to resize windows, clicking on small, little microscopic buttons like It's just going to be very difficult to be using?

And that's pretty much what they've done with this, the screens has is just way too smart to make it really usable.

There may be certain specific use cases for this device.

That may make sense for you, though, like overall, it's quite an interesting device.

And although it is exercise in frustration, you'll find that is probably a much more capable device than like iPad.

You're just probably be pulling your hair out every step of the way, but you'll probably be able to accomplish more on this than with an iPad is just going to damage your back and eyes and your hair.

If you're an artist and you're considering this, I think this may be kind of underpowered even into a Gigabyte RAM motto.

As a drying device like, If you're running further shop and you're trying to do some drawing wonders, you might see some leg.

I think the worst of it is unlike the bigger surfaces, the surface go wouldn't really be a great lap up.

I can also imagine there may be some service workers who may be using a device like this for businesses, maybe like car repair people.

But, you know, the thing is, this doesn't have cellular network on activity, at least not in this current generation model.

So I don't see this device being actually that useful for them so over.

Although I wouldn't say that this device is completely horrible.

There's certain things I like about that.

I really like how this device is so capable.

I can transfer movie files onto here and start watching them.

I can visit a weapons and just printed to my printer.

I can even open up a terminal, log into my Web server and start doing work.

So there are a few good things about this.

But it's about is impressive essay and netbook really is.

It's a netbook.

It's a netbook and, you know, netbooks pretty much died out over the past few years.

If you're interested in that type of thing, then go ahead and get it all the more power to you.

But I would say for most people, if you don't really know what you're doing, you're probably gonna be better off getting standard laptop or like iPad so that do it for me.
