The next distribution has been known for giving system performance as its top priority rather than looks.

I mean, there are beautiful, less top environments, like Katie E or Gnome, which lets you transform the user interface.

But the process off customizing can sometimes get too complicated and intimidating for a new user.

But fortunately, this trend has been changing for good from past few years.

Now we have distributions like elementary and dip in always, which have their own custom build desktop environment that not only looks gorgeous but also has a pretty modern and efficient user interface.

I'm beneath, and this is my review.

Off the latest version off depend toys, that is version 15.3.

Now let's review this operating system on five key criteria.

You look at this distribution and you can tell that this lot of effort has been put in in designing the user interface.

Off this distribution, everything looks pretty nice from design aesthetic point of view.

The next exhibition has always been rated as operating system.

That's not great on looks, but this destroyer is right up there competing with the best user interface off any operating system not only in Lenox but also a cross platform.

The desktop has a dog at the bottom that shortcuts too few APS and setting the dog can be moved to any side of the screen, and you can also change its size.

It also has to Moz.

The default mode is called fashion More and Then there is this efficient more which kind off resembles to the windows.

There's no setting to change the transparency off the dog.

Next is the different amps that comes preinstalled with the standard installation off any operating system nor dip in has a pretty decent selection off default.

APS This launcher icon at the bottom gives you list off all the different applications on depend always.

Now you have Google chrome for Web browsing.

You have the blue P s office suit.

You have Skype for video calling.

You have dip in store for installation.

Off your application.

You have Spotify music, app, steam for gaming.

You have documents, fear for your beauty of files.

Then you have to Thunderbird as your default male client.

And you also have archives manager for opening up archive files.

And then you have this crossover app, which is a nap to let you run Windows program on this machine.

It's pretty useful applications.

If you're in a situation where you have to run a Windows program, this application could be off.

Great help to you off course.

You cannot run all the Windows application on this computer and also the Windows software may not be off the latest version, but it's nice to have this option.

I mean, you can also install an old version off photo shop on this computer using this app.

Next is this software installation.

Now this is very important, as we all know how difficult sometimes it can get to install a software in Lenox now depend has this dip in store, which is kind of of one click installation method for installing software on your computer.

It has this very, very designed, more than user interface, and it's a nice replacement for all your terminal commands off updating the report story index and then searching through the depository on your terminal for installing a particular software.

You can check out the top drank software installer software from there, or you can also go through each category and look for a particular software.

Next is changing the system settings, not changing the system.

Settings in depend always is done through control center, which again has just nicely designed panel.

I mean, changing the system settings can be done in other distribution as well, but in this operating system it is extremely convenient and easily accessible, and I personally think that this is the right way to do it.

Now you can add a new user account from here.

You can change the resolution off your display.

You can change the different application.

You can also do few customization, like changing the window team from light to dark.

You can change the icon theme, the cursor or the system phones.

Um, you can check out the network status.

Bluetooth standers.

The volume settings are here on the date and time settings.

Air here can also do power management.

Keyboard shortcuts can be done from here.

There's also the settings for boot menu.

You can change the background image off your boot menu.

From here, you can change the boot delay, time, the text color and selected testicles.

So pretty good amount of customization can be done from the control center, and at last is the system update.

Not depend.

Always can be updated right from the control center and by going to system information now, here you get the system information, and right below that you get all the updates that are available for your computer right now.

As you can see, there are 12 updates are available, you can select an individual update to run are you can also install all the updates at once.

So there you have it.

Depends is a beautifully designed operating system of a decent amount of customization available and will work for majority offline ex users.

Off course, you do not get the level off tweaking and customization that is available with other Lennox distribution like art, but it's great for someone who has just started using the next distribution.
