  • Hey, guys, good morning.

  • It's Michaela.

  • Um, This morning it is seven AM, and I'm staying in the most luxurious New York on here in Fukuoka Prefecture in a secretive city.

  • And this is the first time I've been toward yo con in Fukuoka Prefecture that I've actually really, really, really like, and I can't wait to show you what it's like.

  • No con is a bit different from a hotel.

  • It's more than a place to sleep.

  • It's a destination for relax ation to hide yourself away from the outside world for me, this neo con and Asakura perfectly completed that task.

  • Inside my room, I have my own private outdoor bath, and it's not just a little tub.

  • It's an actual rock.

  • No.

  • 10 Bruto Outdoor bath.

  • Check out these porcelain sinks.

  • There's two.

  • There's even a porcelain sink in the bathroom and a porcelain toilet paper holder with the same motif.

  • For me, one of the signs of quality in a day.

  • O'Connor's how many amenities it gives you.

  • Um, this is like, really nice stuff.

  • Moisturizing lotion.

  • We've got cream, we've got cleansing wash.

  • We've got makeup remover and even some leave in conditioner for your hair, which I used today.

  • I actually wish I could bring this bottle.

  • Do you want to see the wildest thing about this room?

  • It's this closet.

  • Check it out.

  • There's a frickin sauna bed in the closet.

  • You just crawl in here and you sweat.

  • I used it last night.

  • As you can see, Yo con rooms are often more spacious than hotel rooms to making on the perfect size for families or groups of friends traveling together right outside my room with a balcony overlooking a beautiful river.

  • Now you guys know me, and I know that you are also the same.

  • We're not, technically, the luxury tourism demographic.

  • I don't like spending a ton of money on a short stay.

  • I would rather spend less money over a longer stay, and I mean, everybody's travel style is different, and that's okay.

  • But in recent years, Kyushu has been trying to brand itself as a luxury tourism destination, and with that comes these gorgeous high class hotels, extravagant cruiser trains, some of the best food in the country, and I've been very fortunate to be a part of a project here exploring luxury Kyushu.

  • I want to show you what this like next level of Kyushu tourism looks like.

  • Later today, I will be going to Hakata Station to ride the Nazi bushy, the seven star cruise line that travels around Kyushu.

  • It's a luxury cruise line with sleeper cars.

  • You spend the night on the train day.

  • We're very lucky because we've been given the opportunity to spend a night on the train and see what the luxury tourism experience is like for me.

  • It's kind of just like looking at a fantasy, because I would love to have the type of money to be a luxury tourist one day.

  • But I'm not there yet.

  • Yes, there are many excursion trains operating throughout Japan, but the Nats abo she is the king of excursion trains in Kyushu.

  • Named after the seven Prefectures, the trade is seven cars long and can host up to 28 passengers at a time.

  • It started running five years ago, but its popularity is still surging and with limited capacity and scheduling, even if you can afford a ticket for a ride, you'll have to wait your turn for months before you can secure a spot trading so polished on the outside that it's hard to think a photo because my weird reflection keeps getting in the way.

  • I want you to pay attention to this gorgeous shine and finish on the gold plating design.

  • It's really hard, so shiny, very chic way go.

  • Wow!

  • The detail in all of the design on this train is just, like, so intricate and amazing.

  • You don't see this hide, Iwas Oh my gosh!

  • All right, so this is my room for the evening.

  • Each room has two single beds that can convert into Silva's during the day and during dinner, thes staff will come in and prepare the beds for you.

  • There's also a desk like you would have in a hotel and a chair complete with your own mini fridge, which is stocked and all inclusive.

  • So everything that is in this fridge, you can drink for no extra cost.

  • I'm gonna try this hatch meets a lemon, this honey lemon drink from Saga Prefecture that I've never seen before.

  • All right.

  • And this is the bathroom, even the toilet on the non unsub.

  • Oh, she has a wood finish, and it is one of the Japanese wash lit.

  • So it has a remote control on the side.

  • And, of course, the shower room is quite nice, too, So the showers also lined with the wood finish.

  • It's very, very beautiful, and I love the lattice that they have at the bottom.

  • This kind of separates the drainage of the water base of the shower from your feet.

  • So you're not standing in a shower water, and it's actually really, really nice.

  • I love when showers have this.

  • Kyushu isn't very big.

  • It's possible to circle the entire island in a day or two if you have the time.

  • But each region has its own distinct landscape, Whether it be the mountains in the hot spring count of you fleeing or the seaside in Nagasaki, you're bound to see it all when you relax.

  • Next giant windows of the DiNozzo bushy train.

  • Some travelers are adventurers, but for those who seek to see the world in the comfort of their own safety bubble inevitable, she provides a gentle yet comprehensive overview of the future region.

  • Here's the menu for lunch.

  • It is a Japanese famed lunch with ingredients taken from all over accuse you, uh, cops is famous for its squids.

  • We've got some squid sashimi wagyu beef down.

  • Here's the caviar from Kagoshima Prefecture, which is the southernmost prefecture in Kyushu.

  • On this potato salad has been Tycho, which is fish eggs on top, and that's a specialty in Fukuoka.

  • This is really interesting.

  • This is tomato juice from Miyazaki Prefecture, and what they've done is actually put the tomato juice in a cloth and then squeeze the juice out of a clock.

  • So what you're left with is clear, clear residue, and that is the tomato juice and up top.

  • Here we have a selection of six spices that you could use to flavor your dishes during the day.

  • There are optional excursions to nearby towns, but you can also choose to just stay back, listen to live music, chat with other passengers and take it easy to.

  • So he's been on the train all day, where now is not the prefecture, and we're passing by speed implosion that it's gone.

  • You just missed it.

  • Wasted all that time talking.

  • You'll never know what it looked like, but it was just all Here it is.

  • Here it is there she iss very romantic.

  • Good evening, everyone.

  • So it's almost dinner time and I've been getting ready.

  • Attire for dinner is a formal, and I don't normally wear normal clothes trying.

  • Figure out late.

  • This is good.

  • I think so.

  • I don't know.

  • I really like this dress fan of maybe blue.

  • That's, um take her over from forever 21.

  • But don't tell anybody.

  • All right?

  • Now I'm all dressed up and ready for dinner.

  • I heard that this is a French fusion meal with a chef from Nagasaki and very excited to see what comes out.

  • Got a menu, got a menu.

  • But I'm not gonna spoil it for myself.

  • I'm gonna use it only for arrested.

  • I don't know what something is so about 9:30 p.m. And were stopped at Nagasaki Station way.

  • We're just eating dinner.

  • When staff pointed out that there is a fan who comes to see the knots of Oshi every weekend on this platform and on several platforms throughout the route, we're gonna go see if we can talk to him, because why not just see what it is?

  • He likes so much about the doughnuts.

  • A bushy because the fact that he comes out here all the time and he's like this huge train fan.

  • That's I have so many questions.

  • My shoe, What it did in this nice she got t.

  • Oh, well, they're not supposed to go skiing.

  • You keep this up, you could get something tasty.

  • Your prosecution.

  • What's your point?

  • Stuck.

  • So did it.

  • Go wait.

  • Wow.

  • E ther e o give us Wait.

  • Causing after dinner, passengers were treated to a show on the platform of Nagasaki station.

  • After that, it can return to the train for live music, magic cocktails and general lounging until they're ready to go.
