  • Hey, guys, welcome to a new background.

  • I'm in Canada.

  • I wasn't planning on coming back this summer.

  • It's always nice, but because I love escaping the Japanese summer.

  • But I decided to kind of last minute because my grandpa was having surgery and I wanted to be around while he was recovering.

  • I'm just here for a kind of shortish trip.

  • My friend Nicole is going away, and I told her I'd take care of her cats, so I need to be back in Japan and time for that.

  • So I'm just in Canada for a little under two weeks, but I'm happy that I could get a ticket and it all worked out and I can stay with my grandpa for a bit.

  • So I just started to you two days ago.

  • I've been to the chiropractor twice already to work on my neck because it's still kind of messed up from that time that I told you guys about, um, it started about a month ago, and it's definitely like to the point where I can function normally.

  • It doesn't bug me too much, but when I sleep, it starts to hurt a lot.

  • But I want the chiropractor and he cracked.

  • It was really gross.

  • I've never had that done before.

  • He, like, twisted it to the side and cracked it, avenging cracked my back and did some, like, really painful massage.

  • And it was actually a lot better last night.

  • So hopefully it'll be even better again tonight.

  • We'll see.

  • And I also bought this ridiculously expensive pillow when I figured it's worth it, because I am just so terrified of messing up my neck again.

  • I don't know if I slept on it wrong and like my pillow sucks and I'm sleeping in the wrong angle.

  • I don't know, but I spent like $100 on this pillow.

  • But it felt really good last night, so I think it was a good investment.

  • It looks like this.

  • It's this really interesting shape.

  • If you lie on your back, then you put your head here and this supports your neck.

  • It's really comfortable, but unfortunately I'm not a back sleeper.

  • I cannot sleep on my bag unless there is like no other way for me to sleep.

  • When my neck was really in pain, I had to sleep on my back, but it took forever to fall asleep.

  • So normally I sleep on my side.

  • And if you sleep on your side, then you can use either this side or this side.

  • And he measured my shoulders to make sure that this would be the perfect height for my head.

  • And they were like five different sizes of this pillow.

  • So it's made to fit, um, my body.

  • So I think it's it's a good investment.

  • It's got a five year warranty.

  • So yeah, it feels old thing.

  • This is the guy to stuff I buy when I come back home now.

  • So today I'm hanging with my sister.

  • We're gonna go to the lake.

  • It's Ah, very warm day for Victoria.

  • My family lives in Victoria, BC Canada, for those of you that don't know that and today is gonna be about 24 ish degrees.

  • I think so.

  • It's a pretty warm summer day here.

  • We're gonna go the lake and go swimming with some of her friends.

  • So I'm super excited because I love something in the lake.

  • That's one thing that I really missed living in Japan.

  • People do not swim in lakes there because I guess they're dirty.

  • I don't know.

  • Every time I I asked, like Okay, swimming this, like, people are like, Oh, this is so, uh, it's just not something they do in Japan.

  • And I miss it so much because I love lake swimming.

  • We have really, really clean pretty lakes here in the victorious are gonna be this, like, today, and I'll bring you guys want She made these awesome banana muffins last night have already ate most of mine, but I have one last, so I'm gonna bring it to the lake.

  • She put chocolate chips in her is I like, um, just plain there's Oh, God, I'm just gonna make a sandwich with these guardian golden fleas.

  • They're so good.

  • Plea tastes really similar to, like, fish and chips fish, but they're made with soy.

  • I'm assuming you.

  • Anyways, they're delicious.

  • Say it makes Sam.

  • It's Booth.

  • Let me introduce you guys to the cats before I forget.

  • Oh, it's really great.

  • Um, Mocha is out here on the porch mochi.

  • What?

  • Say hi.

  • I got mocha when I was 13.

  • She was Ah, birthday present.

  • Um, yeah, for my 13th birthday.

  • So she is 18 years old now.

  • She's deaf, but other than that, she's doing pretty well.

  • Good girl.

  • Good girl.

  • All our cuts our girls here.

  • Let's see if I can find the other room.

  • No, There you are.

  • Her thought you were in there.

  • Good girl.

  • Good girl, girl.

  • So Chanel is from Japan.

  • And when I moved back to Canada the first time, I brought her with me.

  • And I didn't want to travel with her anymore because it's really stressful.

  • So now she lives with my parents.

  • Happy girl.

  • Like the sun.

  • She's the same breed.

  • Is Luna happy girl?

  • She must be at least eight years old.

  • Now be nine.

  • I can't remember what year she was born.

  • Okay, this is Jade, maybe Jade.

  • How you doing?

  • She had eye surgery recently.

  • Yeah, for the third time on her eyes, they're finally healed up.

  • Her eyelids were like flipping to the inside.

  • And then her eyelashes were stabbing her eyes and something.

  • Oh, not stabbing, but well, they were all they were always infected.

  • So very great.

  • Now gave her some eyelid surgery.

  • Yeah, look the best they've ever looked.

  • Ah, man.

  • Her sister is somewhere.

  • Assuming my sisters, we just found them outside.

  • When they were really young.

  • Looks like we live in a jungle.

  • I think all the foliage Yeah, you know, my bedroom.

  • We know we can't find the last Kat.

  • So you guys don't get to meet blue yet.

  • She basically looks like jade, but smaller wear at the lake.

  • I was doubting that it was gonna be hot enough today to swim, but after hiking up here is everyone.

  • So I sort of breath so sweaty.

  • So how's this comparing to Japan?

  • Someone, Uh, well, there's no humidity here, which is awesome.

  • It feels hot, but it doesn't feel unbearable, which is a nice change and a night time.

  • It gets so cold here that it's kind of nice, though.

  • It's hard in the afternoon that's different from Japan.

  • It's just kind of hot all day, all night, constantly.

  • Gross.

  • So we're walking through the forest right now.

  • There's like a main beach where the majority of people swim.

  • But I don't want to go there because it's super carded.

  • Usually we're gonna walk around the lake and try to find, like, our own private ish area.

  • Okay, Looks like quite a few people.

  • The main beach having a picnic before going swimming.

  • Got subway?

  • Um, blueberries and strawberries.

  • And we got muffins.

  • Brought too much food.

  • E think we need the way.

  • Is this the side of the lake you're planning on swimming in now?

  • Okay.

  • This is definitely not the way I went on Tuesday.

  • Wait.

  • Think it might go somewhere?

  • Uh, you should go back because I think it's gonna be Cliffy here.

  • I believe this turns into the Yeah.

  • Okay, so it's like 45 minutes later.

  • Way arrived.

  • It I spot like, Is this a different Laker?

  • Is it like a proceed?

  • This is part of the other lake.

  • But there's barely any people here.

  • Maybe 15 people.

  • It's really nice.

  • I have to put over.

  • Talk to me.

  • We made it back alive.

  • That was fun.

  • The water was actually really warm, first kind of son, but as soon as you get in and it weren't really fast, you now we're gonna eat some more Something.

  • What is it?

  • Loss.

  • No, we're back home now.

  • I can finally introduce you guys to Blue Founder Liu.

  • Let's say hi.

  • This is blue.

  • We named her Blue and her sister Jade because she had blue eyes when she was younger and Jade had green eyes.

  • But now they both have yellow eyes.

  • So their names to make absolutely no sense.

  • Okay?

  • Her and Chanel, our enemies, all the cuts that live here.

  • Enemies, actually not a lover.

  • Friends with each other.

  • It's really weird.

  • What are you plotting?

  • Are you plotting, right, guys, I think I'm just gonna say good bye for now.

  • Pretty tired.

  • The sun may be super exhausted.

  • I'm just gonna chill tonight on Dhe at this blood.

  • Hopefully have this up in the morning for you guys.

  • And I will see against him.
