  • tell everyone.

  • It has been six months since I got my Japanese straight perm.

  • So I thought I'd just do a video before I go and get it touched up and just let you know how it's being all of the things that I've gone through with it and my opinions.

  • And if I would get it done again, which I would I've already just revealed that I'm gonna go get it done again.

  • Well, Boyle is also I just realized I'm wearing a black shirt, so I think I'm gonna put on hoodie so that you can see the hair a bit better to the background.

  • Okay, so I'll just say, overall, I have loved the Japanese straight perm.

  • It has saved me a lot of time in the mornings.

  • I just get up sometimes I don't even do anything to my hand.

  • But I usually I didn't do it today, but I usually call the ends, and I killed my fringe in a little bit and that's it.

  • An interesting thing that I noticed after I got my straight home was that people didn't actually notice that much because I straightened my hair so much before I got the perm so people didn't know that I didn't have straight hair, but just crazy, cause I just saw myself every morning with my wavy hair and then I would straighten the heck out of it.

  • Since I got my straight poem, I've looked back at pictures, and part of me is like I had a really nice, wavy hat.

  • Looks really good, but I always have to remember that in pictures, I edited out a lot of the the phrase that happened.

  • And no matter what I did, every single time, I would go out with my head kind of natural.

  • It would always get this kind of fuzz like a halo around it, and it was very hard to keep meat.

  • So that's why I always straighten my half.

  • I'll show you my six months of regrowth.

  • Hold on.

  • If you can probably see it so you can kind of see it.

  • It's down to about here now.

  • All of this was straight combed, and then this bit down here.

  • That's all the regrowth.

  • So this is the bit of head that I tucked behind my ears, so it's kind of stuck with a bit of a bit of a shape here, but I don't think I could stop myself from talking my hand behind my ears.

  • So I'm fine with that.

  • And even though it has been six months, you can't really see the regrowth on the outside.

  • You can't really see it.

  • Uh, but if I go on camera with a lot of light, you can see that the phrase assigned to come back to about here and all of the underneath this started to grow through this.

  • Well, also, this is not the hair style that I want.

  • Right now my fringe is going through and I've been waiting.

  • Thio, go on, get this appointment so that I can get a fringed trim as well.

  • Because, my friend, just so long like that, I always like to see a bit of eyebrow.

  • So, uh, now it's all being pretty positive with the straight home that are a few negatives.

  • Uh, one of them is that my head is so it's a mix of dry and greasy.

  • I always had problems with greasy hair before I got the straight perm, so that might be part of me.

  • So straight after I got this straight perm, my hair was really silky and flowing because they did a hair treatment and gradually it got drier and drier.

  • So I had to try a few hair mosques that would kind of give a bit more moisture.

  • The best one that I found is actually from lush.

  • It's one of those things that you get on a stick and you mix it with hot water.

  • I would use that all over, so from you're supposed to just do it down here.

  • But I did it all the way from my roots all the way down to the ends, and that really added a lot of moisture into my hair.

  • And it felt just a silky is when I first got it done.

  • So definitely, if you get a straight person, you have to keep it moisturized cause it dries out really easy.

  • But another thing is that my head I had this problem before, but my hair always looks a little flat and greasy, so I do need to add like some dry shampoo to, like, judge it up a little bit.

  • Yesterday I wore my hair and a plateau Sim Platz brights, and then when I took it out my hair was all kind of wavy, so I think I might try that.

  • I want to get a bit more adventurous with Stiles now that I've really mustard this one now, actually, with the straight poem, it has saved my life in so many ways, especially when it comes to rainy weather and hot, humid weather.

  • It just it just stays flat, which is something I could never have before it, just even on a humid, crazy day.

  • My hair is just like, Boom, I'm straight down.

  • So the salad recommended to me that I go in for her treatments and I also go in every three months.

  • I think it was for a touch up, but, you know, it's been six months, and still I could probably go for longer.

  • This just makes my life so much easier.

  • So I'm very glad that I got it done and I'm excited to get it done again.

  • So I'm about to head to the salon, and I'm gonna take you guys with me so you can see how the process is done again.

  • And luckily I had a lot of food cause last time it took a long time to like five hours.

  • So this time I've had food.

  • I'm gonna grab a water bottle that I'm gonna be ready to sit there for a really long time.

  • All right?

  • So that's my experience with it so far.

  • After six months now, I'm gonna go to the salon and get it redone.

  • So you're gonna come with me?

  • Let's go.

  • To not loose alone and get it retouched.

  • Also, I will say this video is not sponsored by an L.

  • A.

  • But I am getting the treatment free of charge just so you know.

  • Okay, So I just got here.

  • The first thing I'm gonna do is shampoo my hair, and then we're gonna start with big retouching process.

  • Let's get started.

  • No.

  • Well, my favorite pot bags being clean wrapped.

  • School lunch.

  • So apparently back needs more time, or it's coming through bit stronger.

  • So we're doing the back first, and then we're going to do with the rest of the head so messed up the back.

  • Also, I have an ovary tea and diesel disco biscuits, dairy free.

  • Some dips them in my tea.

  • I love having biscuits and tea.

  • It's just a company.

  • It does feel kind of weird snacking while my head smells like chemicals.

  • Feels kind of wrong.

  • Really good is like a bunch of weight.

  • Told them.

  • All right, so I am a plastic princess right now.

  • Get this.

  • Uh, I've been cling wrapped.

  • Don't make bags on, and I'm just gonna sit here for a little bit of time.

  • But it'll set steady, friend Nish in the head trim.

  • I accidentally talked.

  • I got hair all over my lips.

  • That is nice to finally have my friend back to There's you saying a majority of French?

  • I haven't for a while.

  • I don't like to live life dangerously.

  • I'm in the same style, sees 2010.

  • I'm keeping the same stuff.

  • Why me?

  • Mom wanted me to go with Jamie, right?

  • All right.

  • So you didn't talk to you guys for that process?

  • I now have a lemonade and cram Marie, remember?

  • Eliminated.

  • Delicious.

  • It's really good when my head, I don't know what the next stage is.

  • So we put on some stuff after first pitch stuff.

  • That means that my head's gonna stay straight after we straightened my hair and then we wash it off and then we came back and then we drive and I got a massage.

  • You didn't see that?

  • I'm sorry.

  • Oh, I'm doing this.

  • Alright.

  • We're all done.

  • Show you guys the back.

  • It is a very nice Oh, my God, It feels so nice.

  • What did you do?

  • That's so so Thank you.

  • So arrested a few.

  • Thank you.

  • So I just checked.

  • I was in there for three hours and 20 minutes, which is less time than last time.

  • So the touch up took less time When I was the last time, it took about five hours.

  • I think it doesn't usually take that long, So Okay, so I just got out and that was a super nice experience.

  • Everyone with super lovely had a great chat, and now my hair is very nice and very soft.

  • Look at that.

  • Oh, so I think for me personally, six months was a good amount of time to leave it, but I know others will get the touch of every month or every three months.

  • It depends also with short hair.

  • I think it shows more, but with longer hair, it kind of ways it down a bit.

  • So I think it's so now I think I can't wash my hair for about three days, which is fine.

  • And yeah, I'm just gonna go live my best life.

  • Also.

  • Thank you again to know Lee Salon.

  • If you guys ever in Japan, we need ahead.

  • Kat.

  • They speak English and the very friendly and they're really good.

  • Cafe.

  • I had the cranberry eliminated.

  • It was super.

  • Super good.

  • All right, so that's it.

  • Thank you so much for watching.

  • If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumb's up.

  • Leaving.

  • Come on, Devil.

  • It'll hit.
