fashion beauty books food I stopped doing my monthly favorites so I really

wanted to compile my absolute best stuff I've discovered lately so without

further ado let's get into it so first things first with Beauty is this chanel

stick its what is it it's transparent I thought it was a

French word it's transparent stick and it's absolutely the best one on the

market so for me a lot of these powders that are out in the market are too like

fake looking so I really like the whole like natural like my skin just kind of

sweated in this area type of glow that makes sense so this one is perfect what

I love about this formula is the fact that it's not sticky at all so when I

use it on my eyelids to create this like beautiful wet type of look with like a

bold lip it doesn't stick nothing just smears all over the place so the formula

is amazing I also love using it obviously as a highlighter it's a very

natural clean look and I've been using it a lot like a lot so I've been really

really happy with this one highly recommend if you are into those glowy

dewy I will cop like this sweater than all the right places

Piper block really have to stop sick sweaty next up is this mascara if you

guys follow me on instagram you've seen me shouting this out on instagram

because this is a natural mascara from the brand Ilya it's a very clean brand

and this is the after midnight limitless collage mascara guys this one is this is

like my everyday mascara that is guilt free that I know that's clean and

actually does the job a lot of most natural mascaras that I tried on the

market just like can't hit all the points that I mascara need to hit so

this one is just as a beautiful job I'm actually wearing it right now if you see

like the lashes are so so defined and this is I think like literally one two

coats which I usually really like go ham on it but not this one it really gives

you the option if you want to make them longer or fuller

so you can tell that the brush gives you this to option which I love big big fan

Ilia you're doing great the next beauty product that I've been really loving and

you guys know that I'm a big lover of mist and facial sprays and I am still

like obsessed with rose water so this is by no means saying that I've switched

but I always like exploring different types and this has been my third bottle

this is even Haley but this is the lavender facial tonic hydrosol and this

is the one that I absolutely love she also has a rose one but lavender is just

something just feels so luxurious and the scent and it just does wonders to

the way I feel when I spray it on my face I also love using it before I apply

my makeup and after it's kind of a setting powder and the same like rose

water just kind of have it with me throughout the day if I need to freshen

up my skin I can't even tell you

I can't even tell you I wish you could smell can you smell this can you smell

this No okay never mind it is so grounding big big fan I've been

using a lot of different mist throughout the years and I haven't had one that

felt so rich and and the last product in my beauty section is this love hair this

is actually for haircare and I absolutely love it this is the

volumizing dry shampoo from the company called love hair which is an organic

natural beautiful company that uses all certified natural ingredients I've been

using it for a few months now and I'm actually almost finished enough to order

another one so also I'm using their shampoo and

conditioner which I really like but I really enjoyed the dry shampoo just

because it doesn't feel like it's clogging my pores I don't have like

dandruff and other things that I've experienced with other dry shampoos it

doesn't like have this like annoying build-up that happens quite often with a

lot of dry shampoo so big big lover of the love hair line and save me from a

lot of very very very dirty greasy hair days then we're moving to our

fashion section so for the fashion section I literally just have two things

number one is this cute little hairband that I got from H&M this cute hairband

is such a great idea for anyone who wants to bring a little more character

to your ponytail days so these one are and stores right now they actually have

really really cute other ones I got other two that are just

like black with just like little flowers on them I can't find it at the moment so

I'm a big fan of just finding ways to you know get over a bad hair day or if

you don't know what to do with your hair and you just want a different look this

is a really quick little thing that you can do big fan I've been using it quite

a bit even with like a high bun and putting this little hair been on it

looks like

I hope grew a lot of things in my closet that I really have to put on sale one of

those items are these amazing staple nude love baton pumps that I just wore

the hell out of I'm not getting rid of them don't get me wrong they're still in

my closet they've served me really well throughout the years but the heel is

just really high and I'm just past that point in my life and I did have a face

of like Big Love Bhutan lovers and my staples were this one and the same shoe

but in black but I really wanted to find another brand that is a really high

quality shoe that I'll be able to kind of switch from this like 22 year old

young woman to this grown woman whatever your ages you can be grown moment at all

ages so and this is Stuart Weitzman and Stuart Weitzman makes really comfortable

shoes I have to say so if you guys are looking to invest in a good classic pump

Stuart Weitzman has been doing an amazing job with these this is called

the any that's the style and it still has the high heel it's not as high as

the love boot on and I don't know why it just feels more like substantial maybe

because there's more space here it's not as narrow here it just feels really

comfortable and it looks beautiful and I decided to get a suede version this is a

letter and it just looks so nice and really makes the body looks elongate

and really like sophisticated and I feel like it goes well from jeans to business

look I've actually got a similar shoe also in grade and I absolutely adore

them super comfortable really happy with it

yes it's luxury expense but this is the kind of things where when I bought this

I was planning to wear it for the next eight years and let me tell you I did a

really really good job so what's totally worth in investing in

a new new shoe that's a little more comfortable a little more sophisticated

and a little less gimmicky if that makes sense

because I feel like we passed that point so but don't get me wrong I still be

wearing these it's just this is

we are moving to food so I don't have a lot of updates on foods because I feel

like it hasn't really been my priority to explore different like things that

are out there just cuz I'm so trying to figure out my schedule and timing and

routine with Maxie but the one thing that I found that's been kind of a

self-care practice for me our teas and this specific to has been so amazing so

this is a sweet rose caffeine free tea and I love having this with warm like I

warm some cold milk with vanilla oat milk and then I blend it a bit so it's

like foamy and it's just so relaxing and sweet and comforting and I feel like

it's like my little piece of heaven whenever I need some you know this is

kind of an extension of that once I started through the sweet roasty I was

like oh my god I need to find other ones that would just like make my soul happy

so I found this one and this is the blueberry hibiscus and it has this like

vibrant Hardy taste to it yet so sweet and it's a cappuccino if you guys are

looking to introduce something comforting and a little bit of self-care

into your life I need to show you guys my

like hibiscus latte or like rose sweet Rose tea latte that I've been creating

it's insanity okay now to culture and pop culture and books whatever its

called so at the moment I am reading the book

by Michelle Obama becoming I love her I did not know so many things about her

and now I'm just like wow this woman was so worthy of the power and position that

they were in and it's obviously just like my ignorance because she was the

first lady of America and I live in Canada and it was such a great insight

also to the place where they were when Barack decided to run for presidency and

she was like not a big fan of that idea and anyways I'm not gonna ruin the book

for you all I'm gonna say is that you have to read it she's also doing this

crazy world tour for her book and when I say like a book tour not like going to a

little bookstore and sitting and signing books just literally like filling out

arenas I got a ticket for the one that's gonna happen in Toronto and I'm really

excited to hear her speak and tell the story and kind of inspiration of what

made her come out and ride this amazing book I love it there's one quote that I

absolutely adored she's kind of talking about this is the preface but there's

this one thing that she says she wrote a question what do you want to be when you

grow up so she was saying how she was growing up people would always ask this

like kids these questions of what do you want to be when you grow up as if

growing up is finit as if at some point you become some

and that's the end and that made me think and I even like highlighted it I'm

actually so conscious of this now to never ask a child or a person what do

you want to be when you grow up because we are this life is such a journey the

becoming and the evolution of yourself just never ends and if it ends that's

like an alerting thing so I absolutely love this small little inside she gives

me into her life and teaches me little things that you know I maybe never

noticed before and then I want to mention is this show that I've been

watching that I'm like it's about it's from Amazon Prime I don't know if it's

available anywhere else but I just have to share it's called the marvelous mrs.

Mazal and we were in London Krista's friend recommended it for us to watch it

and it's absolutely amazing like super funny super energetic such cool like

fashion and music and the acting is so dynamic but what I love most about it

it's the fact that there's like a woman that is mrs. mezzo that's kind of the

hero of the story and I just it just feels like a very feminist type of show

where she goes after everything that she wants having the kids and having the

husband and it's really like the first show that I've noticed that they're

focused on the woman and her journey of like going after the things that she

wanted even though it's everything that you know society says it's wrong and

there's knowing this huge emphasis on her children and unheard this and on her

dad it's like really about her and I just found it so refreshing so

entertaining so funny and amazing so I really I don't want to tell you

more about it because I can talk about it for like hours but I would love you
