  • It's deadline day.

  • This is transfer talk.

  • So much has happened since you last saw the team on Good morning transfer lot for our team to discuss.

  • We've got We've got James.

  • You got Marwin days in the studio as well and will be live other members off.

  • The transfer team is well recovering family clubs today.

  • Very, very busy.

  • Always on deadline day, Crystal Palace.

  • And they're hoping to get some deals done before at the 11 p.m. Deadline over here.

  • Rights to the various.

  • Yeah, I've just spoken to new No.

  • Espirito Santo has given me the inside track on what's going on here of wolves.

  • But Ryan Bennett is on his way.

  • Celester.

  • Right now?

  • Yes.

  • And from East London toe west London.

  • I didn't make your hair before Jared Bowen and he is still expected to be on arrival here at West Ham.

  • Today will bring you the latest on the Ford movie.

  • And I'm here in north London.

  • I thought, What if it's training ground where I bumped into Nigel Pearson a few moments ago?

  • So I'll tell you what he's had to say at Newcastle.

  • They've seen three players already this January transfer window and just in the last hour or so Steve Bruce, and let slip that the almost brought their transfer record.

  • Too sane Bukhari Samari from Lille for £40 million on we're in the heart off the newsroom.

  • This is where all the action happens on Deadline Day, where all of our pictures and cameramen come into the building and we will turn around all the pictures for you on Sky sports news on.

  • We want to hear from you as well.

  • Hashtag deadline days the way to get in touch.

  • Come on, Dave, get yourself into that chair because we need you.

  • But we're going to start with Manchester United.

  • Big developments involving their pursuit of a striker.

  • They've had a bid for Born with Joshua King Rejected.

  • Let's get to James Cooper, who's gonna be outside Old Trafford all day and night?

  • Forest James s old shot says he doesn't expect to do anymore business.

  • Well, do we believe in you made that sound so tempting were actually inside.

  • It does that better than being outside, but we will be outside later on this longest of days.

  • But in terms of Allah gonna sell shar, it's interesting I think he has the playbook handed down to him by Sir Alex Ferguson, who, certainly, but sometimes when it suited man just united and when it suited ceramics was perhaps a little bit economical with the truth.

  • Now are you gonna sell?

  • She said.

  • Look, he didn't expect any more business to be done.

  • I think they would still like to get a strike.

  • And I think for many reasons Josh King does fit that bill.

  • He's someone that man United know well about.

  • Some of the only gonna sell Sha has coached as a youngster on someone also gives during attributes to the likes of Anthony Marshall and, of course, Mason Greenwood.

  • So you can see why it might fit.

  • But I think one of the problems there is that bomb was would need to get a player in tow, allow Josh King, perhaps to move somewhere else, and we're a long way from that happening, and there isn't much time left, but in terms of war, Halligan Gasol Shar says.

  • And I'm not going to say you shouldn't trust him as Manchester United manager, but I think he probably has.

  • He's got his reasons for saying sometimes what he says.

  • But here's what he said this morning on Manchester United on whether there will be any transfer business in the dying hours of this transfer window.

  • You know this so much.

  • Many speculations in, uh, in the transfer windows.

  • Now, it's probably gonna be the summer window way.

  • Start on.

  • But I'm very happy with the club and how we've conducted things and how we stick to our beliefs and values as well.

  • We've just got to stay true on Dhe.

  • Stay in control.

  • That's that's what we have to do on.

  • We can't Let's the outside noise run, what we're gonna do and what decisions we make.

  • We've We've got Bruno in and that's ah, fantastic deal to have in January.

  • Is that a polite way of saying there's nothing more gonna happen?

  • Or is it a polite way of saying that something might have tried to be polite anyway, I know I tried to be respectful, Onda.

  • Of course I know where a ll the speculations about us?

  • No, but I said about breaking and notices a strike, you know, maybe Mason the run took in breaking ALS.

  • It's instant.

  • We're trying to work through the semaphore.

  • What does that work exactly?

  • What kind of only gonna sell shower is saying that?

  • I think you can see there was a little bit of discontent, a little bit hurt in his eyes.

  • When you think about Erling Harland, I think that was a player that Manchester United as a striker thought they'd done the business on on.

  • They thought he'd be a Manchester United player by now that that didn't happen.

  • He's a doorman.

  • And what makes that situation worse having missed out on him?

  • Is he scoring goals?

  • Have fun.

  • It means that they are still looking for someone right now.

  • Whether that'll happen, I'm not sure.

  • But I think you know Josh King is someone who probably would come to Manchester United.

  • Wouldn't be overawed by Manchester United knows all about the club.

  • So again you can see how it's a viable option.

  • I guess there is an argument, perhaps, that if Born mother looking for a replacement for Josh King unearth the Manchester United doing shopping for somebody who born with I tried to let go, but I do know the player.

  • Ali knows the player.

  • I guess you know the song goes in Ali.

  • Perhaps we trust James.

  • Thank you.

  • Okay, So we heard from only gonna soul shar there on potentially bring in a strike.

  • Let's hear from the Born with Manager.

  • Anyhow, on the situation with Joshua King, a massive, massive part of our team has been for a long period of time.

  • He brings that unique pace and strength that he has coupled with a really good technical ability and knife a goal.

  • So he's been a massive part of what we've done the last few years here.

  • So speaking as the manager of the club would be very reluctant to lose a player of that quality.

  • And I think the difficulty from our perspective is how later is in the window.

  • A day to go is incredibly difficult to find a replacement for a player that quality love.

  • Josh is a player on the person.

  • Respect him greatly.

  • And I know his situation.

  • I know what Manchester United means to him with his history connected with the club.

  • So I understand his You know his position.

  • Um, this win.

  • See?

  • Wait and see.

  • Says Eddie, Howard and Mark, you know him well.

  • You go born with a lot I thought that was a really interesting answer on Joshua King.

  • Yeah, quite simply, if you ask me right now, with what?

  • Just less than 11 hours to go where the Joshua King will be a Manchester United player at the end of today.

  • I can't give you an honest answer.

  • I don't know.

  • I think this is one that will go right down to the wire.

  • Interesting to see Eddie.

  • How's comments there?

  • It's out of his control.

  • Will have to wait and see on.

  • He knows what Manchester United means to Joshua King.

  • We all know about the link with all.

  • They're gonna so shy.

  • It's quite interesting that a few years ago I got a social.

  • I joked with Joshua King and said, One day I'll come and get you and bring you back to United on Could that day be today?

  • He's a player that has a great record for Born With.

  • He's been an instrumental part of keeping them in the Premier League since he joined in the summer of 2015.

  • He scored six goals in 23 appearances for club and country on ice, A country Norway.

  • We know we're only gonna so shy was like when he played for Norway.

  • So there's that connection there.

  • So this is one.

  • I think if it was any other club, former would find it really difficult to turn this down and say Absolutely no chances.

  • It's gonna happen.

  • But because Joshua King has this affinity with Manchester United and an affection for a good social, his old reserve team manager it makes it really, really difficult because this transfer will pull on the heartstrings.

  • Yeah, well, that's one striker in demand.

  • There's another striker in demand as well, because Newcastle of hard beds turned down four alleviate Shiroo.

  • But they also had a record offer for a midfielder rejected as well.

  • And Keith down.

  • He was speaking to Steve Bruce this morning.

  • Keith, do we know that midfielder Waas?

  • Yeah, Tom, it was really interesting this morning.

  • I must see, because I asked them about Olivia's.

  • You're expecting him to give me a little bit information as to why he didn't come here to Newcastle.

  • Steve Bruce revealed that he tried not once but twice to bring him here.

  • He feels his exhausted, all attempts to bring in a strike or no, but then he volunteered.

  • The information that he'd had are what he said was a near club record bed turned down by the player.

  • For our for our player at our foreign club, that's what he said.

  • He said the deal had been agreed between Newcastle United on the sailing club, but the player himself decided against the move.

  • So just listen to this.

  • This is Steve Bruce earlier on this morning and when he volunteered the information and I asked him a little bit more about it, we had a bit accepted, which would have nearly got to a transfer window.

  • That trance world will record transfer 88 days ago where we had it accepted by the club.

  • Unfortunately, the player wanted to stay where he waas.

  • So you know, we were active.

  • We were really, really active.

  • They didn't quite happen.

  • So, as I said to You will just have to wait and see.

  • See what can do this summer with that phone is your real first for someone else?

  • Someone else.

  • So off the back of that, then, obviously, are Steve Bruce.

  • If you would tell us the name, he said no, he wouldn't do that.

  • Ask them that possession, he said.

  • Okay, I'll tell you is a midfielder I asked him his age.

  • He said No, I'm not not telling you that tea.

  • Then he said, It's up to you guys to go away and try and work out who it was.

  • So we made a few calls.

  • We support to some relevant people on.

  • Although Newcastle United is our club, we're not willing to give us any further information on that.

  • We can tell you that that beds and close to club record beds for the player was for Bukhari soon marry off Leo, a 20 year old midfielder.

  • Of course you remember he's been linked throughout this window with Manchester United on Chelsea.

  • But Newcastle had a bed which we understand to be our own £35 million rising to 40 million Poems with add ons turn down not by Lille, agreed by legal but turned down by the player That sounds is law.

  • From the bits and pieces we're hearing is one that Newcastle me return to in the summer.

  • So the field for that move for Boubacar Samari.

  • But you have.

  • I did as you know, the other transfers in this window.

  • Valentino Lazaro arrived on loan last week from Inter Milan.

  • Not be a Bento Lev arrived on loan from shall come with an option to buy last week is where he made his debut at the weekend.

  • And then just yesterday, of course, we were here at the training ground as Danny Rose arrived for his medical on a long deal from Tottenham.

  • Hot spot until the end of the season, Rolls came to get some game tame under his belt to ensure that he's in England's plans for the upcoming you know campaign.

  • So I think all in all, it's been a good window for Newcastle United s so far.

  • Three in the door, all lorn deals.

  • They failed with that move for the living Djourou on came so close.

  • So close.

  • It sounds to bring in that 40 million Poneman Bukhari.

  • So marry here to Newcastle United.

  • Okay, Thank you.

  • Kate will be there all day.

  • That could be more okay, right?

  • Alleviation, who has been a wanted man?

  • All right, Just the latest on this, By the way with you, we know he's not going to Newcastle and lat CEO Sporting director Igli Tare is on his way to London in the hope of finalizing a deal with Chelsea to sign Olivier Giroud.

  • That's going to sky in Italy into Milan, also still working hard to sign him.

  • A CZ well, okay, so that's Olivier Giroud.

  • But in terms of the Newcastle deal today, they wanted to strike and he would have been perfect for them, wouldn't it?

  • Would've been perfect for them.

  • Would have been perfect for a lot of teams.

  • It seems like in the Premier League and abroad as well look new course of black goals.

  • We know he's a gold score.

  • We've seen it with Arsenal with Chelsea, even with the French national team as well.

  • This through situations and interest in one at the start of the transfer window, I was on this show and I said Look, he's definitely going to intimate that my foot was a done deal into man had a bid rejected but Chelsea and Insulin were about a 1,000,000 I think I mean in euros off that went cold when Fernando Llorente then seemed to be the first choice from Napoli that didn't work out.

  • Then it was Tottenham Newcastle Crystal Palace.

  • It looks like the situation with Drew right now is he ain't going nowhere unless chose to bring someone in.

  • If Chelsea doesn't bring address, Mertens and or someone else looks like they won't let Drew go.

  • And that makes sense, Right?

  • Tommy Abrams injured right now, So you really don't know, really, really only have one backup striker, So why let Olivia is your room?

  • Go when you know you're short in that position yourself.

  • That makes sense for Chelsea, but does it make sense for Alleviation Room?

  • With the Euros coming up in the summer of Senate before on the show today day shops must be begging Olivier Giroud for a move so he can play some football before the euro.

  • Starting to somebody's got to be because he's not going to get the game time a Chelsea.

  • We've seen they even with an injury to Tammy Abraham.

  • I don't believe he's going to get the games.

  • I'm really surprised if he stays put this window right.

  • Well, Lester made a surprise move for the Wolf Center about Ryan Bennett, and Rob Dorset is at the clubs training ground.

  • Rob as he turned up.

  • Yet he's just arrived.

  • Tom, we can show you the pictures Have a look at this.

  • This is Ryan Bennett arriving in his white four by fours.

  • It's a go on.

  • My cameraman, Anthony Hagan got a cracking shot.

  • Him have a look in the wing mirror on the right hand side, just as he pulls up to talk to security.

  • You could clearly see that is Wolverhampton Wanderers Centerback Ryan Bennett gives a little thumbs up security guard before driving in.

  • We expect him to now undergo a medical before completing a deal that will see him stay here at Lester for the remainder of the season, but less the do crucially have an option to make that deal a permanent transfer in the summer if they so wish.

  • Have to say this one course totally by surprise because Ben, it's been playing for Wolves 19 appearances this season, something of a surprise that knew no Spirito Santo would let him go.

  • You have to say, but looking at the stats he hasn't played since New Year's Day for Wolves, so he is, at the moment, surplus to requirements less.

  • They were desperate for a sense about they sold Harry Maguire in the summer for £80 million hadn't brought in any reinforcements since then, but they didn't weren't getting good value in the market.

  • That was the message I was being given.

  • They didn't want to spend a big chunk of that money and unless they could get exactly the right target.

  • So Ryan Bennett comes in to add to the numbers to compete for a place against the lights of Johnny Evans and calculus.

  • Soy and shoot.

  • But crucially, if they can get this deal over the line before the 11 o'clock deadline, no reason why they can't now.

  • They got plenty of time today, in truth, because it's a loan deal, that will really be a big relief for Brendan Rodgers.

  • It means you go into the second half of the season as the Chase Champions League football with some more security if they were to get any injury problems of the Black Rob.

  • Thank you, Ryan, but a very solid center back now.

  • Jared Bowen is having a Medical West Ham ahead of a £20 million deal on one of our transfer team.

  • J.

  • D.

  • Di has made his way out to West Town now and has the latest.

  • Yes, Tom, I mean, how many times have We sat in that same news desk and spoke about Jared Bowen.

  • Frak this whole window.

  • In fact, many of us for coming into deadline date actually probably be self south London.

  • I'm talking in terms of Crystal Palace, but talked advanced overnight with West Ham.

  • They agree to fi with whole that £20 million fee on Dhe.

  • Agreed Personal Tempers.

  • Well.

  • And as you said, he's on his way down here right now to complete his medical.

  • And at that point, you have to think yourself for West Ham would have a player.

  • They get a direct, skillful but more importantly, a goal scorer.

  • He's tenacious.

  • He really, really does love scoring goals over 50 goals.

  • Nine, almost three seasons in the championship with whole.

  • And he has been pushing for a move on kind of show.

  • Move it skills with his performances.

  • They we'll be ready for the Premier League and looking at this West Ham team as well, you think about this old Carol and now to bitch Hernandez.

  • Perez has a lot of gold scores to leave in the previous window on only to bring in Sebastian.

  • Hello.

  • You have to think and I don't want to get too excited.

  • West Ham fans.

  • But you have to think I didn't.

  • Jared Bobin to this team is gonna bring you what you want more than anything else.

  • Goals in London Stadium.

  • J D Thank you, Right, OK, we're gonna head straight to Tim Thornton.

  • Shepherd United's training ground because I'm told he has a very special guest alongside.

  • And he does.

  • Hi, Tim.

  • Yet some transfer deadline day on Sky Sports news.

  • And we have Sheffield United's record signing with May Sunder Birch or Sunday Burger.

  • Should I say How is that pronunciation?

  • First of all, we had something nicknames going on in the group, but I think birds was the last from Billy Sharp.

  • So we'll keep it like that.

  • How does it feel to be Sheffield United?

  • Record signing?

  • Fantastic, of course.

  • A dream coming True enough.

  • The club's really shown that they wanted me here, and, uh, half felt like being part of a family for one a half day.

  • And it's lovely to be here, and we're already trained two times, so it feels good.

  • Chris Wild is being trucking you for quite some time.

  • Is that a real boost to your confidence.

  • The fact that the money just got so much faith in you and I was the main reason why I came here on I chose this club.

  • Ah, I've spoken with Chris and I've been admiring the team for a long time now and how they play, but also how we handles the personal expected off everybody on dressing room.

  • And it seems like a fantastic group.

  • So I'm just looking forward to contribute by from day one.

  • You think your style will suit this time.

  • Um, what is a your style, The way you play well except the team?

  • I hope so.

  • I think it's a system that will fit me well.

  • And of course, it's about the death thing as soon as possible.

  • But it's a physical, strong team and we have, ah, good lines and ah, the way we want to place very clear.

  • So I think I'll get Instant week.

  • You've already played in the Champions League in the Europa League and you get back there with Sheffield United.

  • That's the dream.

  • And of course, that's our mission to win as much against as possible and then also you where we are when the season's finished and you mentioned the two training sessions already have you fitted in with the rest of the lots?

  • Very good.

  • It's been easy when they're such on the helping hand.

  • And, uh, everybody is trying to get me uncomfortable.

  • And I'm just trying to play my game.

  • And then you learn more and more every day.

  • You excited at the prospect of a Premier League debut this weekend?

  • Yeah, of course.

  • I'm fairly without even for me is just the work hard every day and, ah, trying to get a smooch playing time as possible.

  • But of course, it starts out there, and I'm looking forward to travel And, uh, yeah, uh, to feel the atmosphere of the first, Apparently you brilliant.

  • Thanks for joining us on Sky Sports news.

  • The record signing here, Sheffield United.

  • And this is the life of a Premier League footballer he signed yesterday.

  • He trained yesterday chain today.

  • Now he's heading off to fly down to the Capitol ahead of game with Crystal Palace.

  • What did she want to get out of Tim shot or not?

  • That brilliant work go to hear from their record signing Next on transfer talk we'll be joined by a very special guest, a man who knows exactly what deadline day is all about.

  • Of course, it's Harry reading up.

  • He will be live with us next.

  • Welcome back to transport.

  • Talking now.

  • It wouldn't be Deadline Day without speaking to one of my favorite football managers, someone who knows the game inside out.

  • Someone who has managed in the Premier League up and down the F L Onda, of course, the Champions League.

  • And without doubt this man knows how to sign a player.

  • It is, of course, Harry Redknapp, who has taken time out of his day to speak to us on deadline day.

  • Now.

  • Harry, you spoke at the start of the window.

  • It's been fairly quiet.

  • Why do you think that is?

  • Well, I don't know.

  • It's probably Mark, you know, lots of teams.

  • It's a difficult window, you know, you're gonna unless you're in trouble.

  • When you're or you're trying to, you know, maybe make the top four or whatever or try to stay in the division.

  • Really?

  • You don't want to be doing any business?

  • Only if you're a bit desperate.

  • You know you need somebody that might give me that push to get where you want to get.

  • So it's not a great window.

  • So the manager is really been pretty quiet this year.

  • You know what it's like on Deadline day?

  • What is it like?

  • Give us an insight, Harry.

  • Obviously, I just think we lost the line that you know what deadline day is like.

  • You've been there in the cut and thrust of it.

  • You've had to sign players on Deadline day.

  • Is your phone red hot?

  • What's it like is a manager.

  • Give us an insight.

  • Okay.

  • I think we've got a few problems with the line with Harry Redknapp there.

  • We'll try our very best to get him back on the show in a few moments time and find out exactly what it's like to be a Premier League manager on deadline day.

  • Because one man that does know is of course Harry Redknapp.

  • Yeah, absolutely.

  • We'll try to get back to him and I'm sure we will be able to I think maybe just is there a p s e a piercing?

  • Your peace has just gone, right?

  • OK, we'll talk about Lester.

  • All right, because the latest there we heard from rob doors, didn't we, that the Wolves sent about Ryan Bennett is on his way from Medical.

  • We've seen him arrive.

  • Okay, He hasn't taken part in Wolves final training session before tomorrow's game in his Manchester United on the left this morning.

  • Tea.

  • Go there.

  • Okay, right.

  • Ryan Bennett, Dave.

  • I described him there as a solid center back.

  • And that's exactly what Lester need, I guess.

  • Yeah, no doubt.

  • Obviously, the lost Tara Maguire last summer on Brennan Rogers has been looking for cover Philip Banker, which they're now gonna let out on loan.

  • But I think it's a deal that makes sense not only for Lester but for Wolves as well.

  • Ryan Ben.

  • It's been a fantastic servant for wolves, helping them to promotion, helping them have such a good season last year, finishing high in the probably getting Thio Thief a Cup semifinals as well.

  • And it's just unfortunate that this season romance A's Landed and Bianca have been ahead of him in the pecking order, and then someone like Max Killman, who's coming through it.

  • Wolves has done particularly well in the Europa League when he's been given the opportunity as well, so it's just unfortunate for Ryan that he's found opportunities limited this season at Wolves.

  • And now it seems that Lester might be able to offer him a little bit more.

  • Perhaps.

  • Yeah, okay.

  • Still trying to get 100 up back on the line, by the way, but to Crystal Palace, I'll that being gay is dumped in their attempts to sign Jared Bowen, but they have an alternative.

  • Michael Bridge is outside palaces, training ground water.

  • Latest Michael, my time will also be looking.

  • I was told that there was no huge, huge, interesting job going.

  • West Ham will have to pay the big feet, and then so be it obsolete.

  • They got a wealth of attacking options as well with the heart.

  • Is he still here as well?

  • But it's Nathan Ferguson is the key signing they want over the line today.

  • Now you might've seen reports off a potential issue of his medical, obviously, that I was trying to see how seriously this is a fantastic medical department here.

  • Crystal Palace.

  • As soon as I get confirmation on that, I will let you know because quite a serious issue on any medical complications, so it would be absolutely wrong to say anything until I've got confirmation on that.

  • He would have seen reports, but make them Ferguson there big, big fans of him where Hodgins looked him for quite some time.

  • You can play right back, left back, of course.

  • And he'd probably fit straight into that Crystal Palace side.

  • So more on that as I get it.

  • John I there is talk of joint interest again.

  • Palace might look at that later in the day.

  • It former we're prepared to that end.

  • Of course, he's got only six months left on his contract as well.

  • Talk of essay of Queens part rages untold that now is not the case.

  • That might be interest revival potentially in the summer.

  • But look, I was quite here a year ago.

  • At this time, 12 months ago.

  • Things always happen here.

  • I am always hope for the Crystal Palace.

  • Remember, they brought in ST the toast in as well already.

  • Crystal Palace.

  • But we'll see.

  • I'm not going anywhere.

  • Don't worry.

  • We'll get we'll get we'll get that time.

  • How We're not worried, Michael.

  • Don't worry.

  • Thank you.

  • Write plenty on the way.

  • We'll be back in the transfer team around the grounds as teams to get business done before the deadline.

  • Welcome back to your transfer talk now.

  • Before the break, we were speaking to Harry Redknapp, but the technology wasn't playing ball with us.

  • But we have got Harry back.

  • There he is.

  • Let's get straight into today then, Harry.

  • It could be a huge day for so many Premier League sides.

  • One of the moves that could happen.

  • Joshua King at Borman to Manchester United, Europe or mid season ticket holder.

  • How important is he to anyhow?

  • And potentially how bigger Sonny could it be for Manchester United?

  • Who's going to?

  • Who's going from Ballmer's Joshua King?

  • There was, Ah, late bid by Manchester United to warmer last night.

  • That was rejected.

  • But we are expecting Manchester United to go back in with a second offer today.

  • Really, he's a good player, George King.

  • I mean, it was that made it was that man united at one time eso he's been at the club before.

  • I mean, it would be a big lost a ball.

  • You know, King's been a big play football with the last couple of years.

  • He's got paste power, He's got skill.

  • It could school goes.

  • I think he's a really good player.

  • This is the window for a strike.

  • We know there are a lot of Premier League clubs looking for strikers.

  • Another one that is on the lips of so many fans is Olivier Giroud were expecting him to move on Deadline day.

  • Where do you think would suit him?

  • Spurs, maybe Manchester United even or team in Italy?

  • Listen, Spurs would be a great move for him.

  • You know, if if he went to top them, they're looking at the moment Harry's injured Harry Kane, so he would probably go into their team.

  • They probably have to change their style a little bit, you know it is, you know he's not gonna be running channels are playing, you know, the type of movement that Harry played, you know, with balls slipped up beside.

  • They'd have to get the ball in the box to him to be effective.

  • But there's no reason they can't do that.

  • I mean, all over Jerusha Olivier Djourou's a top player will cut winner.

  • So, yeah, I'd be a good signing Tottenham looking at the Premier League sides of the sharp pain down those down at the bottom who the field needs to do the most business today.

  • Well, I think the teams at the bottom.

  • But when you're struggling down there, I think where Stan have made a great signing.

  • I'm a big fan of the late that you know, the boy hole.

  • I think he's a really good player.

  • I looked at him last week against Chelsea in the Cup, and I wonder if Frank would fancy taking him to Chelsea.

  • His movement every gets in the box.

  • He comes often white positions.

  • He scores goals, he works off in the West, and fans will really enjoy having the boy bowing at their club.

  • I think he's a really good player, real good signing for West Ham.

  • You mentioned Frank Lamb part.

  • They're obviously family connection.

  • Many times is Frank phoned you up and ask for some advice because obviously you watch football day in, day out.

  • You know, so many players and you still very much are involved with the game.

  • No, not really.

  • Me French, his own man.

  • I mean, Frank, you know, is you know, he does his own thing.

  • I talked to him and you know, I love what he's doing there Chelsea.

  • But, you know, I think it's probably a difficult window.

  • He's not probably desperate to do anything, really.

  • I think he's looked at one or two players.

  • I think there's, you know, there's been a friend of mine in Frantz used to play play for me, actually in a very good judge.

  • And he mentioned a boy.

  • Giresse, Iate Am Ian assumes a strike, and he was surprised that no one had taken him on loan.

  • He's available one alone with an option of whatever big strong striker.

  • I don't know I haven't seen him, but he tells me he's a very good plan of what someone was coming for him.

  • But now I think Frank's probably quite happy at the moment with the squad.

  • He's got the young players that coming through, and you probably wait maybe to, Jenna told the Samra, make a couple of big signings.

  • That's interesting to hear.

  • Obviously, Harry, we know that you've been involved with many deadline days that some of the clubs you've been involved with, what stories and memories you have of this day because it can be quite chaotic.

  • It can year, but you know, I bought listen some room come off some don't remember taking the canny almost on right at the end of the window and taking in the West Ham against everybody else's judgment.

  • You know, everybody said I was crazy to take to Kanye, but he was a genius in the West and fans absolutely loved him, and I knew they would, because he was a special talent.

  • He was the type of player, you know.

  • And so, on a Portsmouth, I took a little light.

  • Ah, look like Coachella Sandra Oh, from from Wolfsburg.

  • It was an Argentinean international number 10 again, a genius of football.

  • And he kept us up that you helped played a massive part in keeping us in the Premier League.

  • I've gone back to Portsmouth.

  • We were bought with the league and I made a couple of lone signings and he was one of them.

  • He just came in and set the place alight.

  • It was incredible on Harry, obviously, we know it's deadline day.

  • We know is dramatic.

  • It's exciting.

  • And for you, someone who has obviously spent so many years operating in the Premier League, will you be keeping an eye on what happens today on deadline day watching Sky Sports news.

  • Yes.

  • Yeah, I mean, number of ways you can see at the moment.

  • This is not my back garden, Mark.

  • I promise you, it's probably right now.

  • I mean, do I mean don't mean doo blay?

  • Fantastic.

  • Harry's back garden by the moment.

  • So I mean, yeah, I'm sitting outside.

  • I'm foreseeing This is not my back garden.

  • I can't confirm Harry's back Garden is a lot nicer than that one in Dubai.

  • Fantastic.

  • Harry, Thank you so much.

  • Pleasure, guys.

  • Great stuff.

  • Thanks.

  • Sorry.

  • Well, don't mark get him on, right.

  • We're gonna goto.

  • What for?

  • Now?

  • Because Emma paint transfer team is there one second bottom in the league.

  • Any sign of Nigel Pearson's reinforcements?

  • Exactly.

  • Inside a sign of Nigel Pearson.

  • Saw me walk past a little while ago.

  • Came over to shake my hand and he asked me if I would be at the training ground until 11 o'clock deadline tonight.

  • To which I replied, Well, you tell me which he laughed at, but yeah, I'm getting more more optimistic that it will be incomings here.

  • What for today?

  • A player that we know they want to bring into the club is Bernie sent about Ben Gibbs and they had a loan offer rejected for him earlier this week.

  • I thought that Bernie really would ideally like to sell him on a permanent deal.

  • He was a player they brought in on a club record transfer back in 28 even barely featured for them.

  • Really Another player we know they are interested in on a keen on bringing to the club is the Birmingham City left Christian Pedersen.

  • It's really just whether they can get a deal over the line today.

  • I've had loads of what for fans getting in touch.

  • Asking me if Pederson will be coming to the club also has a Birmingham City fan.

  • Get in touch is, well, Nick.

  • He's treated me saying, Emma, can you please tell Nigel Pearson that Edison is a really, really bad player?

  • They're clearly bones that you do not want to let one of the key players go, do they?

  • But talking off players leaving?

  • Could there be any leaving Watford here today?

  • There are three players I've been told could leave the club on loan before the 11 o'clock deadline.

  • One of them is Domingos Keener.

  • He's had interest from a number of club.

  • One of those is West Bram, who are receding really well in the championship at the moment.

  • The other players are Isaac's success and Tong Deli.

  • Bashir, Who's there?

  • Could be some outgoing and, hopefully incomings as well.

  • Who knows, I might even be here until 11 o'clock tonight.

  • Brilliant.

  • Emma.

  • Thank you, Right.

  • Let's get to another member of our team.

  • Anton to Louis.

  • He was wolves.

  • We know they've let Ryan Bennett leave for Lester.

  • Okay, Anton, any need to bring in a replacement?

  • Well, I spoke to new Note about an hour ago, and he said, You seem pretty recent.

  • Ridiculously.

  • Relax, actually for deadline day as a car alarm goes off, just speaking absolutely fantastic anyway.

  • Yeah, no.

  • Seemed very, very relaxed.

  • Said he wasn't particularly looking to bring in.

  • Another replacement is happy with the place he has, but there is a player in the Wolves training complex right now who they expect assigns days current.

  • Having a medical is Luke Matheson, the highly touted teenage right back from Rochdale.

  • A fee of around £1 million has been agreed.

  • He's expect to go back out on loan to rush job for the rest of the season.

  • But he is, of course, the right back.

  • So we'll probably be more likely to be a developmental prospect to come in to compete with Mac Dougherty in the summer.

  • So interesting.

  • The center back isn't the priority how he found out about Ryan, but it's actually quite interesting.

  • When we arrived here at about half past 10 this morning, I heard this shot of by Ben.

  • Oh, sorry about this.

  • Gas accident.

  • But it was Connor Cody shouting Demsey left right.

  • Bennett got his car.

  • We saw him leave there, you guys.

  • So we knew he was on his way quickly.

  • Found out he's on his way, sir.

  • Leicester City.

  • Yeah.

  • Still could be busy for you, Anton.

  • Thank you.

  • Right.

  • Well, the transfer predictions on the opening day of Good Morning Transfer's gonna be revealing.

  • He was got There's right and wrong.

  • Next on, we're gonna be talking Arsenal as they get a new defender Low.

  • Still to come on.

  • Deadline day following us.

  • It's David Garrido on Jessica Crichton on an excellent guess alongside them as well.

  • Dave, what we look forward to, we've got so much look forward to You know what, Tom?

  • We've always had previous of big moves on Deadline day.

  • Even in the winter, from a to Z from our shabby enters our heart.

  • I just wonder Jess.

  • Well, we get that George Robert today.

  • Might we get that big move?

  • It's exciting is the word love to see you.

  • You can feel the energy.

  • You could feel that something big might just be about to happen to discuss it all with us this afternoon.

  • Any Aluko?

  • Ex England forward, of course.

  • England.

  • Centurion.

  • Lovely to have you with us.

  • Thank you.

  • What are you most excited about seeing today?

  • Do you feel as though they could be that one big move?

  • I hope so.

  • I hope so.

  • For the sake of the day, I think one big move I would love to see would be Cavani to Chelsea.

  • I think it's tricky to see whether it would happen because it is the last day.

  • But I think Chelsea need another striker to take the pressure off.

  • Timing Abraham.

  • But all surgeries Martins from Napoli, a think that haven't really replace Ed and has idea he would be a good sign in tricky player creative number 10.

  • But Cavani's a child, so I think would be the big, big, big move for the fans would love that.

  • But what happens usually is that you need one move to trigger another move, and the domino effect starts.

  • So could it be true leaving through this so many machinations?

  • I wish we could get into it here, but it's not just any.

  • He'll be with us.

  • Matt Leticia on also Chris Boyd.

  • All bases covered.

  • We'll see you at one o'clock.

  • Brilliant.

  • Looking forward to that, right?

  • Okay, as promised.

  • We talk about our son now because they completed the signing off.

  • Starting right back, said Cedric Soirees.

  • Now it's on load to the end of the season.

  • This contract expires at the end of the end of the season.

  • They also brought in Pablo Marie on loan from Flamengo earlier this week.

  • With that option, Taub I brought some quotes from Marcel's technical director in their former midfielder do about Cedric, He said Cedric is a defender with good experience off the Premier League and, of course, at international level.

  • Here's another strong addition to our defensive unit will provide our squad with quality.

  • I know he is a player who plays with absolute full commitment and energy, were looking forward to going in the last stages off the season with Cedric as part off the club.

  • Okay.

  • James Cedric.

  • This sensible signing for Marshall?

  • Yes, sensible signing.

  • I don't think it would be one.

  • There are Some fans will jump up about up, down and celebrate about like we saw with measures a few years ago on a deadline day in the summer, but probably experienced, he can play both right back and left back.

  • He's been a good servant for Southampton.

  • It seems very keen to join Our school.

  • Has actually said that the deal was potentially gonna happen a few years ago but fell through.

  • So he's excited to be a part of Arsenal in the projects it's needed.

  • Bellerin Ex Bellerin has his injury problems.

  • Obviously, since it's big injury, last season hasn't really maintained that fitness.

  • So we do need cover easy make not, has impressed, but probably proven right back.

  • If it's a solid signing for us.

  • Yeah and Dave, they did.

  • Everyone used to get in touch.

  • How stock transfer talk a little fancy need to improve.

  • The defense will send it, send it back right back.

  • Absolutely way came into this window saying that Master wanted to get in a center back and they've got a center back and we also said they needed cover in the fallback positions as well and they ended up doing that.

  • A SZ James quite rightly pointed out the fact that he can he can play it right back and left back.

  • Will fell a couple of holes there for for for Arsenal and Unite Emery.

  • We've said all along in this window that also weren't going to make signings that require significant investment because they have committed to paying 150 £160 million in a previous transfer window.

  • So it was always going to be a fairly quiet window for Arsenal.

  • But I think when assigning makes sense like that, I think it's a sensible one for Arsenal today that there were reports linking Pierre Emerick, Obama Young with a move away.

  • But that hasn't happened.

  • He's staying.

  • That must be great for Mikel Arteta.

  • It's imperative he stays, you know, I think we've seen so far in this general transfer window.

  • Everyone's looking for a top striker.

  • They've got one there.

  • And Pierre Pierre, Bambi Yang, since he's been are still 91 games, 57 goals.

  • I mean, that's better than one in two, so we know we can put the ball in the back of that.

  • That's supposed to be the hardest job to do.

  • And what will?

  • This guy does it very, very well.

  • My only question with Obama Yang and Al Teta.

  • I mean, is he the type of strike of the Artista?

  • Once we saw him in the first couple of games running back, man left back in some occasions, will he continually do that?

  • He doesn't like the type of striking it wants to keep going up and down.

  • He wants to play up front and stay up front.

  • You do wonder that work, slackers.

  • That kind of fits.

  • That mold does Obama and it's gonna be interested in the summer of Barcelona.

  • Coming again?

  • Yeah, Mark.

  • In the summer week, there was an agreement that are still actually had quite a good window.

  • But this season hasn't gone their way.

  • They've even up to change their manager.

  • But this window, maybe just letting the players gel a little bit.

  • Maurin bringing in those defensive reinforcements.

  • It can only help.

  • Yeah, absolutely.

  • I think there's a project Arsenal, I think the border behind Mikhail Archetto.

  • They took a long time to make the decision to say goodbye to Renai Emery and replaced him with a man that they were all confident could do the job and take Arsenal forward because they have stopped, started and stumbled over the last few years.

  • Let's be honest, so I think this is the start of the process.

  • I think it's a long process, as Manchester United fans know, but you certainly get the feeling that they are comfortable with what they've got.

  • They've made the additions they want, and then in the summer, they will make significant changes.

  • Yeah, I'm gonna go back to Mark because we'll get the latest now from Brighton.

  • Are you know that club well, is there gonna be active today?

  • They could be.

  • I think they're on the verge of completing assigning today.

  • Chelsea fullback Terry Empty.

  • Now this is a This is a fascinating 11 of the many, many players to come out the Chelsea Academy, another promising, exciting play.

  • But this would be a permanent deal, but one thing I love about this lad.

  • He's only five foot four, but he is absolutely rapid.

  • He's a part of that is so quick.

  • But it's great for his age.

  • He's been described to me, is the best fullback at his age in the country s O'Brien getting a really attack minded fullback here That could be really important because they've never really replace Bruno.

  • So that's an interesting, very highly rated.

  • And tell you what, we're gonna have to go straight to Tottenham because I believe that our reporter for Gilmore does have Josie Marino alongside him.

  • Live on transfer talk.

  • Take it away, pole.

  • Thanks, Tom.

  • Yet delighted to say Joseph Marino has joined us.

  • Josie, thank you for your time.

  • Way are in the middle of a transfer window.

  • Of course.

  • Final day.

  • You've done some business already.

  • How would you sum up the business that has been done?

  • Yeah.

  • Good.

  • Good.

  • Um, we find the in a funny way.

  • Good, or is and Jeff gone gaga.

  • And then we got jets and on alone to try to convince it.

  • Departure of Christian and the injury of Melissa.

  • And then I think, uh, we got a kid with an amazing potential that is going to be cared and developed, and I think will be a fantastic player for us over the next years.

  • In the player that defends, will we learn how to how to love?

  • Because I think it is the kind of profile of pl
