But I do have a clarification.

In my new mini doc called Tokyo by Train,

I said these inspired me to make the video.

But that's not the whole truth.

I actually first shot this image.

Pretty lame, don't you think?

But that scene somehow captured me.

It was a warm September night.

And we had just seen Kimi no Na wa.

Your Name (the title of the movie)

Awesome movie by the way.

And I cherished this real life seen on the platform.

This slice of life.

But even before we were here,

We rode the Tokyo Monorail for the very first time, that very same day.

I got shots like this.

And this.

And this.

And well, a bunch of cool shots.

And all together that made me think.

There are so many great scenes ready for the taking

Amongst the many Tokyo train lines and stations.

So I went out for a full day on the trains.

And caught some scenes that I'm about to show you.
