Hello world! Where I'm from in Canada, this is what fidget spinners are like. So before I went to Canada 4 months ago, I didn't know about fidget spinners. So we went to a fidget spinner kiosk at the mall so I could buy fidget spinners for my friends in Japan. This is one for $10 Two for $15. So I want this one and this one. Those two for sure, OK. Fidget spinners are for people who get distracted and when people are stressed they use it because for example in class, and they can't focus if they don't have something in their hand and they make sounds and people are annoyed. People use this under their desks or they like use it so they don't get they don't get distracted. You can use it for fun too. Yeah you can play with it, do tricks, and yeah... Oh yeah, you can do it like that too! Shin, Shin! On their nose, they do it on their forehead and they do it on their cheeks. Daddy look, Daddy look! Oh, l can't! I know, it hurts! People say that when you do it your face it's dangerous because it could scratch you, it could hurt you, it could go in your eyes also Because when it falls and then it goes like that. I can do it on here. You put this on your eye and it so tickles. What kind of different hand things can you do with it? Um, like this, and then you go like this Or like umm... You should spin it fast, because if it's slow it could fall easily It's like a finger transfer. Usually I used to think that you needed to go like, spin it like that Yeah, me too, like this. People say that you have to put your finger in here and do it like that. But then if you do it like this then it's going to be like boring and you're just like using your other hand... And for example if you're writing and stuff and you're a person who gets distracted and you should do it with one and be like But then you shouldn't put it, during class you shouldn't put it up because the teachers hate fidget spinners sometimes. Yeah, they get distracted. So you're allowed fidget spinners, but you have to hide it? Yeah, like under your desk, like this. If she sees you playing like this, then she takes it away. Yeah! How many fidget spinners has she collected? - Umm.... like 20. - A lot! Yeah, she gives it back, but But once the teacher took the fidget spinner from somebody, like a golden one, and yeah, she was playing with it. Would they allow fidget spinners in Japan? No, because you're not allowed to bring these. No, you're not even allowed bracelets and stuff, so basically you can't bring these. Yeah, in Japan, you're not allowed to wear earrings. Or colour or dye your hair. Even this and this. So, what? You'd be illegal because you have dyed hair? And you'd be illegal because your have earrings? Yeah! How many people in class own a fidget spinner? Oh almost like half of the... Yeah, almost half of the class. 3/3 of the 1/2 of the class. 3/3 of a 1/2? What? I don't know what the heck I'm saying. No, like almost half of the class. Yeah, almost half of the class. OK, is there anything else we should know about fidget spinners? Ummm... have fun. But sometimes when you do it here your hair could get stuck, - So yeah, be careful! - Yeah, be careful. The only thing you should worry about. And make sure you hide it from your teacher. - And have fun! - Yeah! Hand spinner. In Japanese, they call fidget spinners, hand spinners. Are there people in school who have these? People who have them? People who have them. There aren't people have them, are there? I don't know if people at school have them, but I don't think there are. Oh, I did it! Wow! Wait, wait, my hair is getting stuck. Uh oh, it's moving. Wait, it's stuck in my hair! Ha, ha, ha! Can you bring things like this to school? You can't. You can't bring things you can play with to school because Japanese schools are strict. When's the first time you heard about hand spinners? It was on TV, and they were asking people which one do you like better, hand spinners or squeeze toys. I don't remember when, but I saw it on YouTube first. YouTubers like Hikakin and Seikin... [LAUGHTER] Tower. Hand spinner tower. It's like a button. Fun, fun. Ok, next. I did it! [LAUGHTER] Oh, nice! Cool! I did it! I did it! I did it! It looks like her mouth is spinning fast.
