This time, many people are returning to TV shows and movies at home for entertainment.

In fact, one of the top performers across streaming platforms is the movie contagion, which may seem like it hits a little too close to home right now.

So we are here to set the record straight between reality and fiction.

We've seen these scenes before City's deserted businesses shuttered today, these dystopian scenarios aren't playing out on the big screen.

They're increasingly in our own backyards.

Pandemic thrillers are soaring to the top of everyone's isolation.
